Talking about going downhill fast !! How low and how fast will the political talks keep sliding downward before we get back to doing more serious business about improving America. Should we blame Obama for our mess right now? After all he has only been steering our country for 1 year while all the people like Dick Cheney who are making bad jokes right now had been governing this country for 8 years. When will the politicians really stop thinking of their own interests and parties instead of that of the American people? I think that it is a shame to see this type of spectacles during an event that should inspire respect.

I was not a supporter of George Bush but I would never disrespect the office by making him the butt of a joke and Lord knows there were ample opportunities to do so.

At least he can read complete sentences that sound good and make good sense. When Bush read from his teleprompter : he would read...in three or...four word increments...putting pauses in his...sentences where there...should not be.
I was embarrassed for him every time he spoke. Where was the outrage then hypocrytes? With all the ridicule of President Obama you morons are just showing the intelligent people of this country how stupid you really are.

I'm sure that some of the politically charged, factually preposterous attempts at humor brought the social "politiopaths" to the floor in hysterics. Doesn't mean that they were actually funny. Demeaning, SURE in bad taste, ABSOLUTELY.
I would, however, much rather have them talking about policy and at least TRYING to find ways to help America help (many) MORE Americans have a better life in our country.
Not that I think that is really a part of the Neo-Conservative agenda. I'm more inclined to believe that, as usual, it's tax cuts and hatred of anyone who dares to disagree with their ideology.
