So? That's all she does. Talk trash, and get money for her books which are filled with nothing but trash. She hasn't helped to squat.

CPAC should indeed get the laughter out of their system. 2006 and 2008 were just the start in throwing out the likes of Coulter out of Washington.

It has always taken longer to clean up a mess than create it. But it is always entertaining to watch someone blame the person trying to clean the mess up instead of offer a hand.

Ms. Coulter is an excellent illustration of what is wrong with the right.

These people wont allow you to simply disagree with them on the issues. You are required to either love them or hate them.

In Ms. Coulter's case, that's an easy enough choice. She is irrelevant to the issues, by her own choice. So with her it is entirely about personality. She simply wants to sell poorly written books and collect speaking fees, not actually take responsibility for outcomes. Like Rush and the rest, its all about personal enrichment.

But why are the rest of us, via CNN, required to pay attention?

Jokes, lame jokes, about the President's efforts to put the country out of the mess his predecessor (and her hero) put it in...
Unexpected? Absolutely no... Ann Coulter (and most of the speakers at this conference) has yet to come with an alternative.
One that isn't another try of the failed policies that put the country in the current mess after 8 years of Bushism...
Ron Paul, for instance, did try to present alternatives plans and strategies. I disagree with most of the IDEAS he presented, but at least they were ideas.
Wait for one coming from Coulter's mind IS the definition of 'waste of time'...

Coulter can dish it out just like many of the Republicans but where are their solutions. It is easy to foam from the mouth but where is the substance of help for the American people.

Well. she didn't went there to present any strategy or plan or alternative or whatever, she was an entertainer and she did accomplice her mission.
Unlike her hero GWB in all of his attempts.

Sadly enough the jokes on U.S. It is we who live in gridlock because the right is unwilling to work with the democratically elected President and congress. The recovery is being delayed because of this gridlock causing many folks to suffer and weakening our global position. To intentionally damage the country by derailing our political system (as Rush has hoped for) is nothing short of treason.

Amazing. Where was all the conservative rhetoric when the republican party had control of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. They had all the surplus in the world to start with, and spent the nation into oblivion, yet they now worry about the deficit. What a bunch of hypocrites you are. Oh! and dont start belching platitudes about being able to produce statistics showing the opposite. Figures dont lie, but liars do figure. The republican party is filled to the brim with liars..

Conservatives, seems all they can do is criticise and make jokes. We dont need jokes and criticism, we need ideas, they are fresh out of those.

Ann Coulter doesn't make a good comedian either. Her own crowd didn't actually laugh that much...maybe they didn't get it.

She's about as funny as a barrel of monkeys ... without the monkeys. Thus, she should resign.

Hearing sacred cows and Democrat/liberal icons skewered...funny.

Enjoying zingers about John Edwards and Kerry...a hoot.

Seeing CNN/Anderson Cooper dinged on a video that is playing at CNN (apparently nobody on the video staff watched this all the way through?)...priceless.

I'm no fan of Ms. Coulter (like many professional brick-throwers on the Left, she seems to exist merely to cause a ruckus, stir people up and make off-putting, cringe-inducing statements on a routine basis).

BUT, dammit...those were some funny, well-placed (and richly deserved) digs above. I chuckled and smiled throughout.

    Sue m...oh, wait.

The Republican Party reminds me of all the TV reality shows that have recently infected the air ways the last few years. Their party is not based on real facts or ideas .... but falsehoods and lies. They have become the standup comics of politics. They joke and lie their way around all the troubles and problems of the Nation, with no solutions or ideas ..... just negative jokes. I'm reminded of my high school days in the 60s when the click groups would stand in the hal way and make jokes and name call all the students they did not like. Ann Coulter and the rest of Cpac are very insecure individuals that have to strike out at everyone because of their own fears. I hope this group is slowly eliminated from the political picture so the USA can start to heal again!

Whenever the fringe left spoke of former president Bush with disrespect, righties like the martini-sodden Ms. Coulter–those upholders of all Christian values, right conduct, and moral decency– professed outrage, and the media played along. Democrats were forever having to apologize for what some far-out loon had said about Mr. Bush.

But for all eight years of the Clinton presidency, and now again, from the moment Mr. Obama was inaugurated, all of the right–not just its fringe, not just its base, but its leaders and pundits and politicians–have relentlessly assailed the president of the United States in vicious and vitriolic language, without apology.

These are the people who would have us believe they are the only "real" Americans–these patriots who giggle about assassination and skin color in sly, malign terms, even as they undermine every remaining standard of decency in their blitzkrieg pursuit of power.

Worse, these aren't just slips of the tongue or lapses of judgment–every vile utterance has been focus-grouped and malice-tested by the likes of Frank Luntz. These clowns are reading their hate speech from teleprompters, index cards, and the palms of their hands.

I wish I could undo every Republican vote I ever cast.

Coulter and Rush do nothing but spread lies and misinformation to further their own personal selfish interests. These people have no interest in the average American or their needs. People need to stop listening to these fools.

Republicans have sunk so low and now have become a comedy club while Americans aren't laughing. It appears they, the rich, are laughing at the poor.
