Defense official example of revolving door between governing, lobbying

(CNN) - During the 2008 presidential campaign, then-Sen. Barack Obama repeatedly promised that if elected he would clean up the way Washington works and bar lobbyists from working in his administration.

"I have done more to take on lobbyists than any other candidate in this race - and I've won," Obama said during the primaries. "I don't take a dime of their money, and when I am president, they won't find a job in my White House."

But just weeks after Obama's inauguration, one found a job in the Pentagon.

William Lynn was confirmed as the No. 2 man in the Defense Department, a bit of a shock because he had spent much of the last decade as a lobbyist for Raytheon, the $25 billion a year defense contractor that makes the Army's Patriot missile system and the Navy's Tomahawk missile.

    Mr. President...it isn't your Whitehouse.

But of course you know that, just remember whose house it really is.

No Lobbyists.. yeah right. Not familier with ACORN...yeah right.

TRUTH, justice and the American way.. too bad you only think that you are superman.

Before all you right wingers start to criticize President Obama on this, a few questions need to be asked: like how much of the decade was he a lobbyist and when did he stop being a lobbyist?

I do not recall President Obama saying if a person was ever a lobbyist he could not work for him. I believe if the person by law was not a lobbyist for so many years they could take a Government job.

Leave it up to CNN to report what might get the most attention instead of reporting the whole story with all the facts.

Just one, are you serious CNN?

MORE lobbyists have been to the WH than for any other President ever or does that not count, true NOW they have one as part of the clan, but they permeate this administration and THEIR POLICIES.

Raise your hand if your a nitwit liberal and you don't know that Owebama made a deal with bigpharma already in regards to healthcare?

One, two, three. four, wow, a lot of sheep in the house today, five, six...

You Lie! Not the first time he has gone back on false promises. How's that "Hope" and (lack of) "Change" working for you?

Oh what a big shock. Obama caught in another lie. Liberals will say anything to get elected. Their whole premise is a lie. And when you couple those lies with a corrupt Chicago political thug, you get what we have now. But don't worry, we will send him back to thug land in 2012.
