Washington (CNN) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared Friday to defend Rep. Charles Rangel, D-New York, over ethics charges that led to his admonishment.
"They have said he did not knowingly violate the rules," she told reporters after thanking the ethics committee for its work. "They did not take action against him. They just said he did not willfully break the rules."
Rangel was formally admonished Friday by the House's ethics committee for violating rules on receiving gifts.

Please CNN, go back and check the remarks that Pelosi and Steny Hoyer made when Tom DeLay was admonished by the Ethics Committee. It will show the public the bald face corruption, lies and just plain sliminess of the liberals.

It would seem that Piglosi and Rangel are the pot and the kettle. Piglosi can't call Rangel black without Rangel proving that she is too! I am sure Rangel knows where all of the Pigs skeletons are buried. Once again the Ethicsless Committee proves that it is indeed ethicsless by not really burying Rangel. Just a couple of ardent supporters of the AKA serving as president.

Tom DeLay was admonished by the Ethics Committee and Pelosi was calling for him to resign (which he did), Rangel was admonished by the same committee and she gives him her full support. I don't understand Nancy.
I am really not sure which of these two is the bigger disgrace – let's just call it even and know thta the citizens of this great country are truly not being served. Rangel ought ot be ousted not supported and Pelosi really needs to reevaluate what her job is as an ELECTED official. Look up political cronyism in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of these two.

What double-standard coming from Democrats! Remember in 2004 Nancy was the first one to call for DeLay's resignation exactly for the same charges that Rangel is accused of? Socialist minds are not troubled by problems with ethics. If Nancy found problems with ethics she wouldn't have insisted on a jumbo size, huge carbon footprint jet airplane (paid for by taxpayers) to carry her back and forth between California and Washington DC every week. With plenty of trips for her family members. If she cared about such things she wouldn't be doing that. But, good socialist that she is, she will exploit the people for her personal gain. When Queen Nancy took over as speaker of the house, she gave a speech. In that speech she claimed that the party was over in that members of the GOP really had screwed things up and acted less than desireable–she was right, they screwed up royally.. With that said, if Nancy wants to look somewhat credible which I know is a stretch, she should demand that old Charlie resign.
Vote Congress out, “you are fired” if they are in. Vote them out this fall no matter what party they belong to, and in the next election and every election going forward until they become the servants of the people once more.
