Palin signs second book deal

Sarah Palin is writing a second book to be released by Harper Collins.
Sarah Palin is writing a second book to be released by Harper Collins.

(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, whose 2009 memoir "Going Rogue" remains a New York Times bestseller four months after it was released, has signed on to write a book about "America's virtues and strengths."

The yet-to-be-named book - appearing to have trappings fit for an aspiring political candidate - will be a reflection on "the key values - both national and spiritual - that have been such a profound part of her life and which continue to inform her vision of the future," according to publisher Harper Collins.

The book will also feature "selections from classic and contemporary readings" that have inspired the former Republican vice presidential nominee.

Harper Collins, which published "Going Rogue," was mum on how much money Palin is receiving for the book. A financial disclosure form last fall revealed she was paid $1.25 million by the publisher as a retainer.

Like "Going Rogue," Palin's latest book was negotiated by Robert Barnett, the high-profile Washington lawyer who has sealed lucrative deals for a number of high-profile politicians, most recently newly-elected Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown.

Someone please just give her a boat load of money and let her just fade away. She pretends to be smart. (NOT) then she really thinks she is a beauty queen. That a NOT also. Sarah is an average American not to smart just totally self absorbed with her new found celebrity. Its about ego and money. Why can't the media see that and just forget about the Palins.

She had better have the ghost writer provide an advance list of the readings that have inspired her so she doesn't have to answer, "Umm, all of them..." if asked what they were.

Oh, and crib notes in the palm may help should anyone ask about their actual content. Get somebody else to write them too; maybe an aide she pays to read those inspirational "thingies" for her so she doesn't have to take valuable time away from being the person who she is, just doin' those really great things that she does.

Remember, she can't be too careful. You know how that Liberal mainstream media just loves to trip her up with sneaky questions about what she thinks and what she knows.

"inform her vision of the future" or "form her vision of the future"?

    Is she hearing voices?

This should be interesting, since her comment "I have no mercy for the bad guys" is in direct conflict with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

As near as anyone's been able to determine, this woman has never read a book in her life. She does not read newspapers. She's ignorant of most history, even recent events. She didn't know who caused 9/11 until McCain's people told her. This is her charm to her followers, she's actually as dumb as they are. Trying to recast her now as someone who reads books and actually thinks about stuff could backfire in the ol' celebrity machine there, gosh darn it!

She always wanted to be a STAR ever since she was in her PAGAENT YEARS!!! John McCain gave her the opportunity to rise to STARDOM when he selected her as his VP!!

In reality, she's a celebrity and we need not worry about her running for President again – WOW, I was really looking forward to this Moron running for president so that she can be BEATEN miserably!!!

She is "slowly" but surely separating herself from the POLITICAL world just so that she can BE ALL SHE CAN BE!!! By the way – where is Todd???????

Will she be writing it on her hand? "The book will also feature 'selections from classic and contemporary readings' that have inspired the former Republican vice presidential nominee." Agree that the Cat in the Hat is a classic but is it really that inspirational?

Sigh... she just won't go away. It's obvious she's doing everything and anything she can to stay in the limelight.

This is what some people want running our country in 2012???

But we already know that buying her own book in huge lots is the only thing that put her on the so called "best seller" list. It was all a scam.

The discount 50 cent book bin is still overflowing with her fist book.

Its too bad so many trees are cut down and wasted so this lipstick dipstick can pay someone else to write a book.

Let me remind you that Palin said that "America is doomed and Alaska is the savior state".

In her small mind she had all of us marked for dead when she was running for VP and she still believe this.

I love it when Palin supporters out themselves as having voted for her. . I just love it.
