Music power couple Beyonce & Jay-Z got inside White House tour

Photos posted online appear to show Jay-Z and Beyonce in the White House.

Washington (CNN) - Megastars Beyonce and Jay-Z, accompanied by a small group of friends, visited the White House on Wednesday for a special tour that included the White House Situation Room, White House aides confirmed.

A photo, apparently taken of the group in the Situation Room, was released on the Web site Rap Radar. The photo shows Jay-Z sitting at the head of the table, the seat normally occupied by the president. He is surrounded by his wife, Beyonce, and others in his entourage.

White House tours for the public normally do not include a stop inside the Situation Room. When occupied by the president and his national security team, the room is typically used to mobilize the administration during a crisis situation and communicate to officials around the world. But one White House aide said special visitors occasionally get access to the Situation Room.

"It's not like there's classified information laying around," the aide said. "It's really just a conference room."

Last December, the White House posted a virtual tour of the Situation Room, touting it as "an exclusive look inside one of the most secure spaces in the country."

White House aides confirmed that Jay-Z and Beyonce stopped by before Jay-Z's concert Wednesday night at Washington's Verizon Center.

They are so deserving of all the tributes and honors they receive both in the USA as well as internationally. Congratulations.

Was anyone appauled when Pres. Bush allowed friends to tour the White House ? Where was the outrage ? It seems everything Pres. Obama does it wrong and everything Pres. Bush did was justified ?

If you want to tour the White House Situation Room, then go the White House web site and take a virtual tour. Like it or not, Jay Z represents the sprit of America. He went from humble beginings in New York to becoming a UBER- Successful(Business, fashion, Music etc).

Any President has the right to invite whom they please to the White House and anyone has the right to complain, THAT's AMERICA !

    This disgusts me.....and I'm a Democrat.

This unfortunately is embedded in the American culture – elevate useless talent with a drug history like Jay-Z, pour millions of dollars on him and suddenly he is more worthy than the rest of us to take a white house tour.....!

We all know the President loves the camera himself, but the White House is starting to smell like Hollywood and this has serious repurcussions around the world!

The gentleman who said his embarrassed to be a veteran and an American. YOU are right, you should be embarrased because you don't stand for what makes this country great. You stand for ignorant middle American views that are so outdated, the rest of the world laughs at us for giving you a voice. Racism is ignorant. Hate is a thing of the past. It will die with you when you leave this earth.

  9. Once you vote black

With all due respect to the African-American community, I have to say that majority of them are still not "good" enough in terms of attitude, knowledge, self-control, ego, passion, humbleness and selfishness.

If we look back their root which is Africa, that's why majority of them are not "ready" yet to be the "leader" of the world.

Whites have been kind enough by lifting them from the very bottom of the world (compare with other races in the world). But yet, they even want to take over the whites. Even the WH. The sanctity of WH is gone and it's no longer the symbol of the supremacy of America. It's been a junk yard with all the clowns.

Now, here is what you got once you vote for black.

If a felon is unable to vote, why in the world is a felon aloud in the, WhiteHouse.
And in this case a place usually off limits to the public.

It's so funny to read these posts about how President Obama must not be doing anything else if he takes the time to welcome some people to the White House.

Just because our last president couldn't watch TV and eat a pretzel without choking, doesn't mean President Obama isn't capable of handling more than one thing at a time.

I MISS BUSH. You didn't see him bringing in his favorite artists to the White house. This President is making a mockery of the position with his needless want for Celebrity. We get it Obama, you know A-Listers. Why don't you Practice what you preach, "Change". What have you done lately again? Oh yea, Beers at the white house and Jay-Z and Beyonce over, taking pictures in our nations CHAIR. Way to go? 4 years can't pass by soon enough.....

Does Obama let his children listen to "that" music? He said NO, I mean 99 problems bu the B aint one is not something I would let a child listen to or even consider it worth listening too. Come on, these are very poor examples and poor role models. What about a Dr or some other established black american? Obama said himself its a nation of black "callers and ballers".

What's the problem here? The photo shows Beyonce and Jat-Z sitting with a bunch of other people, listening respectfully to the speaker.

Pretty good role-modeling, if you ask me.

Voice of who? Jay Z stabbed another man in anger 5 times and only modern medicine save the guys' life. Jay Z still has no respect by sitting in the President's seat.

Way to go. Just we need is to let people into the situation room so it can be bugged. This white house is way to open. Look at all those un-invited guests that got in through security. Now this. Why not open it up to the street people....

I can see the right wingers, especially tripping about the president being hip and spreading hate about this. When will they learn that the man is human. He can't do no wrong. The right wing needs to condemn their hate, get that retarded Palin lady out of their party, and create a positive image instead of spreading hate. That shows that they are anti- Americans and don't believe in god. Marinate on that GOP

I can't believe that people are upset because Jay-Z and Beyonce had a visit at the White House. By the way, anyone can get a visit in the white house. It is the people's house so any law abiding US citizen can get in. Is it because he is a Rapper? I am sure if it was a Country artist this wouldn’t be a problem. This is just another attempt to try to discredit the president. At least this White House is letting us know who gets in. Bush and the others kept their guesses secret. People act like Obama took time out of his day to give them a personal tour. I’m sure Jay-Z and Beyonce are not the only stars that had a tour in the situation room. Again, at least Obama is transparent.

An how dare people judge Jay-Z . Yes his life was not always great but he has done a lot for the community and donated millions of dollars to 911 victims and other charities. He has acknowledged his mistakes and in his songs encourages kids not to take or sell drugs. If we are now basing who should get in the White House on morals than let’s look at religious leaders that have been there and then got caught having gay sex and doing drugs with a male hooker. (Bush's spiritual advisor). People want to blame all their problems on Obama but let’s be clear, Bush and the Republican's had a lot to do with messing up this country and it is going to be awhile before things get back to normal. Even if we elected a Republican president right now he wouldn't be able to do no better than Obama.

  25. Get a life!

OMG! Must every little darn thing be analyzed and criticized. if only you'll were as critical when Bush was giving tax breaks to the wealthy, starting and expanding a trillion dollar war based on lies and just about making a mess of everything he said and did. Get a life people.
