Washington (CNN) – White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs announced Friday morning that President Barack Obama will delay leaving for his Asia trip until Sunday March 21, three days later than previously announced.
"The President will delay leaving for Indonesia and Australia – will now leave Sunday – the First Lady and the girls will not be on the trip," Gibbs said on his Twitter account. Obama had previously expressed a willingness to delay the trip in order to work on health care, according to a senior administration official.

Communicate that the Republican's opposition be Healthcare Insurance Reform is opposition to the quality of life for Middle America
I am glad to see and know that President Obama has his priorities straight–putting domestic policy ahead of foreign policy. He is smart enough to know how important this healthcare reform initiative is and knows the political consequences of failure to pass and implement this initiative. This initiative is about saving people's lives and preserving their well-being. It is also about saving our economy. These goals have more importance than a trip to Asia.
