(CNN) – Rielle Hunter is extremely upset with the three photographs of herself featured in the latest issue of GQ magazine.
The woman who was involved in a months-long affair with Democrat John Edwards told ABC's Barbara Walters Monday she found the images - two of which feature her without pants - "repulsive" and, Hunter also told Walters, she cried for two hours because she felt they were so terrible.
"When I asked, 'Well if that was the case, why did you pose the way you did?' She said that she trusted Mark Seliger, who she said is a brilliant photographer, and she quote 'went with the flow,'" Walters said on ABC's The View.
"She said that he took a lot of pictures, and thought there might be one like that, that showed her being sexy," Walter's continued. "When she was shown with her daughter, she was wearing her own t-shirt and sweatpants. The other photos of her with the big shirt are not her clothes, they were given to her by the photographer."
The images accompanied a more than 10,000-word interview with Hunter, who for the first time discusses how her now-infamous affair with Edwards developed.
I got it! Ah, those weren't Rielle's clothes. Now, that makes all the difference. What's more, the photographer dressed her little body. She's absolved of all responsibility. She was oblivious to all. There you have it.
By the way...there are some really important issues on hand. And, none of them has to do with Ms. Hunter of Mr. Edwards. And, that's the truth.
What in the heck do you think is going to happen when you pose with no pants on?? You are going to get a picture of you with no pants on. Idiot.
Most women have a pretty good idea of what they look like without pants on – it's called a mirror. Perhaps hers has been lying to her? She can have mine – it is brutally honest, much to my chagrin.
Pff. Yeah, you do the picks and then complain.
Tramps around with a politician, then complains to get famous, then complains when she's shown as a tramp... Whatever. Idiot.
So she actually trusted the photographer? Dummy.
Like Rich Sanchez asked this afternoon, "wasn't she there?"
This guy is a great photographer. She looks almost doable in these photos.
You took off your pants, allowed a picture to be taken, and are somehow upset at the outcome?
Who is she kidding?
She does know that there won' t be any additional payments to her for whining after she was interviewed and photographed, right? Besides that, who the hell cares? She helped John Edwards to destroy his marriage and family and now she's upset as being cast as a little sexy? Give me a cosmic break. Who doesn't chase the spotlight need not worry about the glare.
Boo Hoo, then she should not have possed for them. Not much sympathy for this trashy tramp. You knew he was married and you knew you were posing...shameful.
She cried for two whole hours? Boo Hoo.
When in doubt, keep your pants on.
It would appear to me that if this woman would learn to keep her clothes on she wouldn't have all these problems that she complains about. Geeze, didn't her lack of clothes cause this whole ugly scene to unfold initially when Elizabeth was diagnosed with cancer and Johnny was running for prez. I have absolutely no respect for her or Johnny Edwards. Both demonstrated losers IMHO.
Let's see: she knew the man is married. She chose to enter into an
adulterous relationship over a long period of time.
She's now upset over some picture. Is this a misplaced attempt of accountability? Certainly she showed a lack of good judgment and morality before. She's doing it again.
Uh huh. She's just as stupid as I thought.
Is she kidding? Didn't Ms. Hunter pose for this picture? Talk about getting your 15 minutes of fame. Going after a married man whose wife is dying of cancer. John Edwards and this woman deserved everything they get.
I just watched the 3 minute video of Ms. Hunter's photo shoot. She looked to be having a good time and was even in another outfit without pants that they did not show in the GQ stills. I think she was enjoying the feeling of being a celebrity, having a professional photog crew around, they had a fan blowing on her... And now that the pics are receiving a barrage of bad comments she is just like the rest of us – upset that people are saying hurtful things. Hardly the super enlightened person she keeps saying she is. Actions speak louder than words. Why didn't she just stand up for herself and say no to being photographed without her britches?! ha
