(CNN) – Rielle Hunter is extremely upset with the three photographs of herself featured in the latest issue of GQ magazine.
The woman who was involved in a months-long affair with Democrat John Edwards told ABC's Barbara Walters Monday she found the images - two of which feature her without pants - "repulsive" and, Hunter also told Walters, she cried for two hours because she felt they were so terrible.
"When I asked, 'Well if that was the case, why did you pose the way you did?' She said that she trusted Mark Seliger, who she said is a brilliant photographer, and she quote 'went with the flow,'" Walters said on ABC's The View.
"She said that he took a lot of pictures, and thought there might be one like that, that showed her being sexy," Walter's continued. "When she was shown with her daughter, she was wearing her own t-shirt and sweatpants. The other photos of her with the big shirt are not her clothes, they were given to her by the photographer."
The images accompanied a more than 10,000-word interview with Hunter, who for the first time discusses how her now-infamous affair with Edwards developed.

But she posed for the pics.
She is just another embarrassment to women everywhere.
Give me a break. If you don't want to have scantily clad photos of yourself published, don't take them.
Give me a break! She knew exactly what she was doing. Why this even makes "news" is beyond comprehension. Just hope Edwards' wife has a great attorney.
Hunter upset over GQ photos
Rielle is shocked....shocked...to learn these photos went public according to her publicist.
Nothing is ever Hunter's fault. She and Johnny are the most honest people in the world, who just happen to be surrounded by liars.
It must be nice for her to live in her own alternate reality.
I mean, what was she expecting really! Just the fact that the pictures are taken on a bed tells it all. What is she hoping to accomplish with this?
I hope Elizabeth Edwards will sue her for recking her marriage. Had no business conversating with GQ Magazine in the first place.
You never pose for a magazine unless each picture taken can be published.
The best way to avoid being seen in a photo without pants is to keep your pants on during the photo shoot. You were being photographed. You took them off for the photos. What exactly did you expect would be the result? Take some responsibility for your own actions.
If you don't want people to see you that way, then don't let them photograph you that way. That's what I always tell my daughter. This is a grown woman who intentionally posed for the pictures. Now she is crying foul because she probably didn't get the reaction she had hoped for. This woman is a loser!
She's just looking for sympathy and controversy and publicity. The model is always shown the photographs on shoots like prior to publication, and asked for input and approval. Any way, she certainly had to know what she was wearing and how she was posing at the time...
Give me a break, who is dumber, her or John Edwards, pose for a photo and then say you are surprized,RIGHT!
Give me a break. She had an affair with a married man, a child out of wedlock, angled for money, money , money and is 'upset' at the pic?
No sympathy here, she's a golddigger....
If it makes you feel better, I do not find it repulsive.
Hey, who took off her pants? If she wants to be taken seriously, maybe she should leave her pants on. Isn't that how she got in trouble with Edwards in the first place?
Come on...she knew what she was getting into. GQ...what did she expect?
it appears this dame will take her clothes off for anyone IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR STUFF OUT THERE DONT PUT IT OUT THERE
THIS is got to be the most gullible woman around she trusts everybody and then whines when she is VICTIMIZED
Denial is pretty much a lifestyle for this tart, isn't it?
All I can say is don't pose in any way you wouldn't want to get published!! Keep your pants on!!
If she would have kept her pants on to start with GQ wouldn't know who she was.
Really? I highly doubt someone forced her to pose sans pants. This sounds so much like the ex-Miss California saga. Listen ladies, pose or don't pose, but stick with your decision. Do not blame others for your foolish choices!
Common sense question asked by Barbara Walters....lol....and her response was 'went with the flow'....more like went with the disrobe...
amazing what people do for money.
Mama needs some more money (and a tan).
When you do a photo shoot – in bed with no pants on, what do you expect?
OMG – this woman is righteous HOT!!! I'd like to have a baby with her myself.
Regardless of my desires for hotty Rielle, Edwards is pretty slimey for disrepecting his wife with this extra-marital affair. Ms. Hunter also participated in what she knew was a wrongful act. Maybe it was love. I don't doubt that there were true feelings between these two.
Anyway, I respect Ms. Hunter for having the child and not covering the whole thing up with an abortion.
Yeah RIGHT! She knew what she was doing...Posing in a MAN'S dress shirt!. If she had ANY CLASS, she should have asked to wear a nice sweat outfit, NOT A MAN'S SHIRT!
She 's a REAL DUMB BLONDE!
