ThinkAgain, if the healthcare reform bill is going to produce savings why has the stock of every insurance company and every healthcare provider company risen? It isn't because they are going to make less money.

Thank you, President Obama for working so hard for the American people. Leader Pelosi, Hoyer and the rest of our Democrat Reps, you've changed the image of Congress from a Do-Nothing image to one that can get things done. Hillary Clinton said it best, it would take another Democrat in the White House to clean up the mess of the Republicans!

Thank you President Obama!! I wish we could have a public option, but this is better than nothing. What I'm noticing is that none of the people who are freaking out about health care know why they hate it so much, except that Fox News told them they should. Once people start living with this bill the truth will come out about just how moderate it really is.

You rahm-tards go right ahead with being happy with putting money into the FUND for FOUR years while seeing little benefit, we people that have a brain on the other hand (and pay for most of you) are coming after everyone that voted for this, one by one by one.

This could have been done right, but the gutless lying fraud of a president (no cap deserved) ignored the PEOPLE.

Repeal, Reform, Replace in 2010 and 2012, YES WE CAN.

As a person who has spent his lifetime as a health care worker I applaud the President and the Democratic majority in Congress for finally doing something to take the control of Healthcare in this country out of the hands of the Insurance robber barons. It is not everything we need but it is a beginning.

One more nail in the coffin of the American economy...

But look on the bright side! All of us who actually work for a living get to start paying the medical bills of the deadbeat slime who'd just rather stay in bed.

More abuse of children as political tools by the wacked out loony lib Dems. "I received a letter just last week from a 6 year old..." If I hear that one more time, I will puke on their televised image.

    Thank you President Obama!

We have defeated the defenders of the rich-the Republicans. It is about time we poor people also feel American without being called Socialists. When it works for them it is freedom and capitalism. But when it works for us, they call it an infringement on freedom and socialism.

It is very intersting how republicans have become experts in labelling. They want to change everything by labelling it. They want to turn an angel into a devil and vice versa by FEAR and LABELLING. This is how they survived for a long time. And they will continue to do it. They have a poverty of ideas and they disrespect the intelligence of the ordinary Americans. That is why they frequently use fear and labelling treating ordinary Americans like babies.

This time it did not work.

munchmom@12:08 ..Well, since you were 'sick' on election day and this Country's President hadn't been inaugurated yet, and hadn't implemented any of your imaginery "Socialist" agenda, it is safe to assume that you were 'sick' because the new president wasn't a white Republican. Did you feel better when you got your tax break last year? Or were you still in the bathroom of your doublewide, throwing up because 'those people' had taken over?

Medicare states they are increasing the premiums by 40 percent. My mother was paying $125 to medicare monthly out of her $501 check. Now she has to pay $180 a month. Why is the gov't making those least able to pay, pay more to pay for the new gov't insurance laws just now passed at the white house???????

I'm not buying that bull. I pay 4.9% out of my social security check. You'd better ask God to forgive you for bearing falst witness.

I am getting a little tired of everyone's lack of looking back in time. I keep hearing how the current president has ignored the wishes of the majority of americans, and how this is going to cost soooooo much money, or who does he think he is. Hmmmm.......I remember several years ago, the then president taking our country to war that has costs us BILLIONS and it was against the wishes of the majority. Funny how everyone remembers only what they want to!!!!!

Thank you President Obama and Congress for doing what's right!

Remember, what is popular is not always right and what is right is not always popular!!!

How popular was the war in Iraq in 2003? VERY How popular was it in 2008? Not.... Who spoke out against the Iraq war before invasion? President Obama. Why? Because it was the right thing to do!!

It's amazing to me that people are so uninformed about what this really means. Thank God Congress, thought about the working class, the uninsured and the poor great job. Too bad we can't put all these whining, dimwitted, complainers on a boat and ship them anywhere but here. Let them and the rest of the hateful GOP w/ their tea baggers, and birthers and all that other crazy fringe element feed off of each other but this is a momentous victory and I for one say good for the Democrats and the President.

Thank you, Mr. President and all who voted for this bill!!!!

Now, the President and the Democratic Party just need to make sure they spread the word – frequently and loudly – of the successes and savings of the health care reform bill.

Keep up the good work, Mr. President!

I'll remember that image for a while, especially when we are reaping the "rewards" of this program in 15 years.
