Palin targets vulnerable Democrats

Sarah Palin's PAC will target Democrats who voted for health care reform.
Sarah Palin's PAC will target Democrats who voted for health care reform.

Washington (CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin launched a fundraising campaign Tuesday targeting 17 Democrats that voted in favor of health care reform and represent districts carried by the McCain-Palin ticket in 2008.

In a post on Facebook, Palin urged followers to "reclaim the power of the people from those who disregarded the will of the people."

Palin, a long-time critic of the health care reform legislation, directed followers to donate money to her political action committee, SarahPAC.

"Maybe when they join the millions of unemployed, they'll understand why Americans wanted them to focus on job creation and an invigorated private sector," Palin wrote. "Come November, we're going to print pink slips for members of Congress as fast as they've been printing money."

The former governor lists 17 Democrats that SarahPAC will target in November – seats she says can be replaced with "Commonsense Conservatives."

Here are the 17 Palin targets:

Ann Kirkpatrick or Arizona
Harry E. Mitchell of Arizona
Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona
John Salazar of Colorado
Betsy Markey of Colorado
Allen Boyd of Florida
Suzanne Kosmas of Florida
Baron P. Hill of Indiana
Earl Pomeroy of Alabama
Charlie Wilson of Ohio
John Boccieri of Ohio
Kathy Dahlkemper of Pennsylvania
Christopher Carney of Pennsylvania
John Spratt, Jr. of South Carolina
Tom Perriello of Virginia
Alan Mollohan of West Virginia
Nick Rahall of West Virginia

Palin is drinking the kool aid again. Except for a couple of the above states, all of these states have high unemployment which translates to a very high level of uninsured/underinsured voters both Democrats and Republicans. In 11/2010, these voters will remember who went to bat for them and who did not. And vote accordingly.

Pretty darn funny coming from a woman who has admitted she used to go to Cananda for socialized medical treatment.

Palin also has absolutely no credibility. She's a quitter, a liar and a mooch.

What could she possibly know about what "the People" want? She's too busy running away from her responsibilities in her efforts to cash in on her 15 minutes of fame.

No, she "definitely" can not be writing her on face book. Sarah keep yaking, you and your hate filled, racist crowd that would rather see Obama fail then America win will all see how the American people are too smart to be fooled by the likes of you.

Just because Palin and other GOPpers claim to know what "the People" want, doesn't meant they do.

All the Republicans have these days is rhetoric – hate-filled, fear-mongering, divisive words.

Because their economic, military and foreign policies are proven failures.

And time will soon tell how they were all on the wrong side of history when it comes to health care reform, too.

    Go home, Sarah!

17 good people getting it from the devil herself ! When will her hate for middle class ever end ? Coming from a socialist state like Alaska you would think that she would be able to see the good of this most historic and progressive bill. The rest of the world does pretty darn good with Government Health Care and the boogie man is not going to take over your life because the Government is involved in health care.

Immediately after Health Care Reform was passed I sensed much gnashing of the teeth from the Republicans.

You know who is going to get targeted, It's the party of hate, the party of no, the party of procrastination, the party of divide, the party of so called real Americans, the party of racism, the party of fascism, and it's being presented to you as a tea party freedom movement.

Just what is going to happen when this bill helps America? Or are they foolish enough to try and damage the bill after it's signed. I keep hearing America didn't want this.. Who have you been getting your news from, FOX? I also hear why didn't America vote on this, I don't remember voting on going into two unfunded wars in the middle east. Wars that are costing us billions more than our health care will.

What a tragedy this woman is....just keep on talkin' Sarah....you are one of the best reasons to vote Democratic I can think of. You who couldn't see a Governorship through to the end of term... you don't matter to over two-thirds of the country. If you think it's a bad idea that speaks volumes for it being an excellent one!

Give money to SarahPAC – how convenient is that!

Send money to Palin so she can buy more clothes, get her hair done and jet around spouting nonsense to the ignoramuses of her party.

You are the stupidest lady in America. What can you do against people who voted for healthcare reform...NOTHING...Infact they may become more popular with the voters.

Sarah Palin is a talking head with no original thought of her own. She lost all political significance when she quit her governorship to flit around on her book tour. She has no place in politics...but Obama supporters, like myself, would rejoice if she ran in 2012! GOP...the party of NO!

The first job for Sarah Palin is to get a prescription for John McCain and his chronic whining. Hopefully, that is included in the Health Reform Bill as it appears many Republicans will need a dose.

And just what is a "Commonsense Conservative"? Once again, the GOP has a buzz phrase that even the dimmest of their followers can remember.

Besides which, it should be "common sense" – two words, something Palin would know if she actually knew how to write and speak English correctly. (It must be the maximum number of words Palin can remember without having to write on her hand.)

And would that "common sense" be the tried-and-failed policies that:

    – took us into two unfunded wars
    – irresponsibly passed tax cuts for the wealthy during wartime (turning a budget surplus into a budget deficit)
    – tortured prisoners
    – illegally wire-tapped American citizens
    – de-regulated the financial industry (leading to global financial collapse)
    – ignored the August 6, 2001 President Daily Briefing entitled, "Al Qaeda Determined to Attack the US Using Airplanes"?

Thanks, but ... well, you know the rest.
