Rudy Giuliani says Obama can't fool him

Rudy Giuliani takes aim at President Obama.

Rudy Giuliani takes aim at President Obama.

(CNN) - Sitting in the stands above a rain-soaked field at Yankee Stadium Monday, Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said the president is not making good on his promise to make jobs the number one priority of his administration.

While guest-hosting CNBC's "Closing Bell," Giuliani said of the president that "jobs is not his No. 1 priority. He wouldn't have passed this bill if jobs was his No. 1 priority. He would've spent the last year working on jobs. My No. 1 priority when I was mayor of New York City was bringing down crime. I know what a No. 1 priority is – so he can't fool me that jobs is his No. 1 priority."

Giuliani went on to criticize House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congress saying, "This was an ideological act by the Congress yesterday, not a sensible health care decision."

While the bill is far from perfect, it is better than anything the Republicans would have put together. I've said this before and I'll say it again. I'd sooner trust an intoxicated chimpanzee with glaucoma performing open heart surgery on me than trusting the Republicans to get things right on health care reform.

Giuliani can't fool Americans either , HE LIKES TO DRESS LIKE A WOMAN." This man is untrustworthy, a liar, deceitful, and not credible! He is living on 9/11, in which he blowed himself like he was a political big shot! I WOULD NOT TRUST HIM TO RUN A PIG STYE OR DUNG DUMP! REPUGLICANS LIKE HIM IS WHAT MAKES AMERICANS DISTRUSTFUL OF POLITICIANS!

Rudi, Rudi, Rudi. You may be the most pathetic politician ever. You exploited the 9/11 tragedy to extend your post beyond your term, you claimed the credit for the responses provided by the brave men and women of the Fire and Police Departments, and you lied to everyone about your relationship with your mistress. You tried to strong-arm a judge to bar your wife access to the Mayoral mansion so you could bring the little trollop there. So don't talk to us about lies. Go back under the rock you crawled out from under, and leave the good people of NY and the country to deal with real issues.

  7. NYC Hates you

Guiliani you tried to fool us in NYC, we dont care what you think. Using 9-11 as political propaganda for your run to the whitehouse was beyond immoral and selfish. Your decision not to give the NYFD new radios before 9-11 is a major failure on your ability to make decisions in the government. Your decision to give the bid for new radios to a company of your choosing instead of the FDNY deciding what was best for them, cost lives to be lost. Who cares what you think, you failed on your number #1 priorty as mayor so why should anyone choose to believe what you think about HC and employment? You are not a hero of 9-11 and never will be in the eye of New Yorkers.

Anger comes from fear. It is no accident that racial epithets were yelled at black lawmakers on Saturday in Washington and a kind of venom even gets exclaimed from the floor of the Congress: "You lie!" "Baby killer!" The protesters were protesting health care legislation. But they feared they were losing their country.

Europe and Canada are way ahead of the USA in compassion for the sick. Shame on the GOP!!!!

Obama never said his number one priority was jobs and Guliani knows that.

He simply wants to whine and make things up like the rest of the republican party.

Sorry Rudy, but Obama did promise to transform this country and he has set out to do it. So sad that so many Americans hated this country so badly they wanted to change us to a third rate country and they elected that evil Obama to do it.

Rudy, "it is better to be thought a fool than speak out and remove all doubts". You have lost all creditibility and no one, except CNN cares what you have to say.
Just more irresponsible hypocrasy which is the backbone of the republican party.

I guess going from losing 700,000 jobs a month at the tail-end of W's term, to almost 0 losses now would be a great deal of progress. 9/11

Is this Rudy "America was never attacked under George Bush" Giuliani?
A statement like that from the man who was mayor of new york during 9/11, when Bush was president, makes me wonder why anyone is even listening to this man at all.
I suppose he's erased the stimulus bill from history the way he did 9/11.
then again, when President Obama passed that bill, the Repubicans complained that he was interfering with the system by trying to create jobs. Then they went home and took credit for those same jobs.
Now they're pretending he never even passed it.
This from the party that tried to kill the latest job bill in congress at the first attempt. The only reason the bill survived was because 3 of them broke ranks, yet republicans that tried to kill it later voted for it!
Mitch McConnell co authors a proposal for a commission to cut the deficit, President Obama supports it, and McConnell votes against it!
What exactly do the republicans think they're doing? Do they think government is some sort of game?
