Why must he attach the healthcare bill to the actions of those in his party prior to condemning the act? He's being a hypocrite again! These are not democrats protesting.

Mr. Boehner. Your response is unacceptable. Look how you and your fellow Republicans acted in front of the people protesting the health care bill. The Republicans actions speak a lot louder than words.

Hypocritical talk from the man who called health care reform "Armageddon."

All this violence has been sown by the Republicans and their lackeys, egged on by Fox, Beck, Limbaugh, Palin and all the other anti-American mouthpieces for the Republican Party.

If, God forbid, someone should get hurt, the instigators of the crime should be held accountable, including trial, conviction, restitution and real jail time.

Has anyone ever seen John Boehner smiling or carrying a pleasant face. Unfortunately this happens when you are lying through your teeth.

On the topic of political violence, please note that, of the six presidential assassinations and attempts in this century, three have been by LEFT WING lunatics, and three have been by certifiable psychopaths:

    1. Garfield (anarchist)
    2. Truman (Puerto Rican separatists)
    3. Kennedy (Soviet-sympathizing communist)
    4. Ford (Squeeky Frome – hippie nut)
    5. Ford (Sara Jane Moore – hippie nut)
    6. Reagn (Hinkley – just plain bonkers)

So the fact is that the most serious, damaging and acted-upon domestic political terrorists are from the left.

Quit blaming the right for what is really the left's issue.

I think its hilarious that now the GOP comes out trying to tell everyone to "calm down" and "express your anger in other ways" after they're the ones who incited (and are still inciting!) all the rednecks, racists and right-wingers into a groundless frenzy.

Example 1. Sarah Palin's facebook page showing which politicans need to be "targeted" when campaigning – Oh, she couldn't use check marks or stars, right. She HAD to use crosshairs!

Example 2. Cantor's impassioned plea to "Stop the violence, now!" after his campaign office was shot at. Then blaming it on the Democrats for inciting the person who did it! LOL

Man, they are CLUELESS!! Don't they realize THEY'RE the ones causing it with they're constant opposition to ANYTHING Obama. He could tomorrow find a way to feed the hungry, heal the sick and raise the dead and they would find a reason to be opposed to it! And try to convince everyone else to oppose it too!! LOL

The crazy lady in Alabama who killed those people=Democrat

The guy in Austin who flew the plane into the building=Democrat

The guy who bombed the DNC headcorders=Democrat

The crazy group who blew up building in DC=Democrat

Let's not pretend who is doing this stuff, the facts are the facts.

Threats are unacceptable, but so is ratcheting up the rhetoric to such an apocalyptic fever pitch that threats of violence become inevitable.

When you whip a mob up into a frenzy, what do you expect?

I wish thr Republicans would just admit that they are angry because President Obama got what he wanted. They should accept that this issue is done with and start a new chapter with getting jobs for the American public.
Most people do not know what all of the issues are and how they will affect them. The issue and i state it again is that President got what he wanted maybe not exactly the way he wanted but there always have to be give and take.
The American public want jobs. need to move on to issues that will help us with that issue and it would be much better.

Rep. Boehner, you and your cohorts in the Republican party have incited hate and violence. God help you and the Republicans IF anyone is seriously hurt!

why is john boehner treated differently than any other citizen who commits a criminal act especially since he is a pseudo leader of sorts? he should be an example setter not one who incites riots.

john boehner just like sarah palin, michelle bachman, rush limbaugh, glenn beck, jim demint and others revved up the tea partiers and their base and now because they can't control the violence they want to show their phoney dismay. nobody is buying it and now that you can't control it that makes you and all the others responsible. but boehner you want to be house speaker when you need to be voted out of office or impeached . You are accountable for the violence

Just read about Cantor (R) having a shot go thru his window (office?). Unacceptable. However, when you read some of the comment from right wingers about the Dems being harrassed, I add this..." this situation with Cantor are GOP operatives looking to 'score points' in opposition to what has happened. So what say you now Righties? Was this a democratic person venting OR is it a set-up just like you purport the previous incidents to be????

It don't take too much to figure out where this apple and many more have fallen from. They didn't win the Civil War, or any other oppression war they have tried to win through out the years; and they WILL NOT WIN THIS ONE EITHER. BECAUSE WE HAVE, AND WE WILL, CONTINUE TO OVERCOME!!!! NO MATTER HOW MUCH HATRED AND INTIMIDATION THEY TRY TO SPEW.

Such flaming hypocracy! The Republicans, Freedom Works, the Chamber of Commerce, the Tea Party and Birther folks have been screaming lies, racial epithets, and threats (including the Tan Man stating that a Congressman would be dead if he voted for HCR), since last August.

So to stand there and state that the Democrats are stoking the hate and lies is unbelievable. Where were the Republicans' denoucements of the racial slurs and spitting over the past weekend? They were standing on the "Beach" at the House stoking hate to the protestors outside. Shameful behavior and if anything happens to any Democrat, the Republicans will be to blame.

It starts with smashing windows. Next thing you know, liberals have to wear a big letter "L" on their coats. Have a nice day!

The answer to this has long been provided to us by Conservatives. I'm surprised that they don't mention it now.

Members of Congress should be armed. Let them all pack heat when at work. Their wives should be armed too, in case an event like this occurs while the Congressman himself is out drinking with lobbyists at the time.

Remember, when only criminals carry guns, then only criminals will carry guns.

If some left-wing crazy tries to shoot a hole in a Republican window, then the Republican wife can return fire while the kids dial 911. That will definitely lower the crime rate and left-wing nut cases will think twice about supporting socialistic health care from then on. After all, it has been proven that the more guns we have, the safer we are.

I'm only thinking of the safety of our elected officials.

His statement reminds me of the statements of Arafat condemning suicide bombings in Israel.

    Boehner starts off by saying...

"I know many Americans are ANGRY over this health care bill and angry at Democrats here in Washington for not listening..."

Okay – so Boehner is admitting that the angry mobs and angry people are responsible for the recent racial slurs and violence that took place throughout our country. Then he goes on to say that the anger should be 'channeled’ into another more position direction. Then he continues to RAG the Democrats and the President!!

Then Boehner says at the end, "...with all of the uncertainty in the world we CAN and SHOULD do better by our friends then taking every opportunity to embarrass them. It's a dangerous time and we need to be focused on real security threats and obstacles to peace in the middle east and how Israel has been treated by this administration is not how you should treat a friend."

So now he turns the JEWS against President Obama and continues to RAG the Democrats with his little ‘keywords’, yes ‘keywords’!

If Boehner wanted this to be a true message to curve the violence – than he should have stuck with that message!!! I don't know if he was being questioned or not but it was very obvious he was READING from notes!!

If the anger – according to Boehner – is coming from people who are mad at the Democrats and President Obama – then who shot out Cantor's window in Virginia – some Democrat who is angry with Cantor because of Health Care Reform???? It does not make sense!!!
