President Obama is set for a busy week, touting health care reform in Maine, then heading to Massachusetts and North Carolina.

Washington (CNN) - Barack Obama heads to Maine next week, the president's second stop outside of the nation's capitol to tout the benefits of health care reforms since he signed the bill into law on Tuesday.

The White House says the president will hold a health care event in Portland, Maine next Thursday. Obama went to Iowa Thursday to build support for the health care measure, his first event outside of Washington since signing the legislation.

After his stop in Maine, Democratic sources tell CNN that Obama is expected to headline a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Boston.

The White House says the next day the president jumps on Air Force One again, destination Charlotte, North Carolina, where he's scheduled to deliver remarks on the economy.

We finally have a President who puts the will of the people first, party second, as it should be for all politicians! (A good deal of the people against this bill actually WANTED single payer or a public option and felt this bill DIDN'T GO FAR ENOUGH.... they were NOT against healthcare reform.)

He is still selling healthcare reform because the republicans have already announced they are going to do everything in their power to repeal it.

This is a President who was willing to risk his second term for something he belives will benefit the American People. Most politicians (both sides) are too worried about their careers to worry about "doing the business of The People." He got the Democrats moving in the right direction and now he wants to have their backs. A good man.

This man is pushing for cap & trade and says he believes in global warming. He is leaving a bigger carbon footprint than Al Gore. Both want us to do without while they live in their mansions and fly jets around like toys. Both are hyprocrites. Remember in Nov.

Come on Ryan, the president is a radical Progressive thug. CNN would do nothing to damage his reputation.

I have been around quite a while and I have the sense that this president will not give up the office peacefully. Nixon went peacefully. Clinton never threatened a coup. But Barry Sotera comes from a culture of hate (Rev. Wright) and violence (Bill Ayers) and is a threat to the stability of our national government.

@German-Irish American – you said "Obama is the most devicsive and partisan President in the history of the US. His agenda is driven by hate and division of the country."

Actually that was George W Bush who was the most divisive and partisan President: starting unnecisary wars, illegaly spying on US citizens, and using wedge issues to divide the electorate.

All President Obama has done is presented policy designed to help all Americans.

And, please, can some of you learn what "socialism" means before using it. Europe is not made up of "socialist" contries; they are capitalists.

Way to go, Democrats. A huge tax increase on business in the middle of a recession. I wish you'd taken more economics courses and less art history in college.

A partial list of the GOP health amendments offered in the Senate yesterday, which were voted down by Democrats:

    1. No Viagra for convicted rapists and pedophiles.
    2. No medical device taxes for disabled veterans
    3. No taxes on pacemakers

Apparently Senate Democrats are pro-pedophile, anti-veteran, and anti-cardiac function.

I second what Ryan says. Stop being led into emotional fits like little kids. They play on your fear, politics, and racism, and get you stirred up over nothing. And this article is truly about nothing. Yes, a president travels. A lot. To many places. This is nothing new. And there is nothing unique about this. Grow up.

Ryan – "This article was written to insinuate that the President travels too much on taxpayer's dime."

Because he does. You mean to tell me you don't have a problem paying too much in taxes?

Just stay in DC you have done enough damage to our Coutry as it is.

Still trying to sell a bill that should have never been passed all because that's what you wanted not the taxpayers.

You will not have to pay for it we will.

CNN is playing dumb a lot these days. For example, they are running hypothetical 2012 polls. How do you measure an outcome an election without any knowledge of the second opponent?
It is like “if team a plays against another team who will win?” . The answer is news!

T'SAH – "The President's travel are JUST – and they are NO MORE than previous Presidents!!!"

Except for the DATES he goes on with his wife that somehow require taking Air Force One to New York at taxpayers expense.

" At least President Obama accomplishes things – AND – no one has thrown a SHOE at him yet!!!"

Give it time. He's pissed off enough people at home I'm sure he'll piss off some Muslim somewhere down the road, if he's not already apologized to him for the big bad USA first.

At least when President Obama flies he's still working not running off to his ranch or Kennebunkport for another endless vacation trip. Of course when you inherit the mess he did there is much more work to do than when W took over.

If it's soooo good for the American people why does he have to continue to sell it? It really shouldn't be necessary. Obama's just trying to save face with the majority of Americans who oppose this crap. Any fool can see that.
