Tea Party protest puts spotlight on Reid in Nevada

Washington (CNN) - Thousands of Tea Party activists Saturday will mount their latest cross-country protest against big government and health care reform, hoping its kickoff point also will carry a strong symbolic message.

They are converging on Searchlight, Nevada, hometown of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The four-term Democratic incumbent likes to remind people he was born and raised there in meager surroundings.

When will the Tea Party realize what the rest of us have figured out, that they're a group of hateful, racist, homophobic, white people who are scared and lashing out at anyone (Democrats) who doesn't feel exactly as they do, as if it's their right? They have no plan, they have no common cause outside of fear, anger, and hate. Have you seen some of the video of them being asked what they're protesting? If you haven't, check them out on youtube. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

I'd like to ask them how they think I felt when Bush cut taxes on the rich, while operating 2 wars. Or how I felt about the build up to the Iraq war, knowing full well S. Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11, and the frustration I felt at being unable to stop such a horrible decision. But then again, it doesn't matter how I feel. It's all about them. I raised a couple of kids. I saw this behavior when they were toddlers.

The Tea Party is made up of the followers of Tim McVeigh, the police really ought to start rounding up these terrorists.

Good luck to the Repubs in trying to "control" the Tea Partiers. Those people are a conglomeration of sincere radicals that all hate ANY gov`t. The people supporting ( using ) them are the rich individuals, insurance lobbys, and special interest groups wanting TAXES and insurance to stay partitioned just as they are. -– Lots of people, unfortunately, are too stupid to see what`s really going on here.

The tea baggers are becoming more and more irrelevant the more people realize what they are all about, and the hate they embrace.
