Minneapolis, Minnesota (CNN) - Republican hot button Sarah Palin took the stage Wednesday in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, calling on conservatives to "get our country back on the right track."
"It's not going to be easy. This is a challenge," she told the crowd. "The first task is to restore balance and common sense, and the first test will be at the ballot box in November."
The former Alaska governor and current conservative superstar headlined the event hosted by the Republican Party of Minnesota. Her last appearance in Minnesota was for her book tour in December.
Palin also offered a direct thank you to members of the Tea Party movement.
"I thank you for being part of this beautiful grassroots movement that's really sweeping across our country and it is full of common-sense conservatives who are ready to take our country back."
I'm ssoo glad to be with ya real Americans, yaa, you betcha, darn tootin. try my moose chili why dontcha
I love how whenever there's a Sarah Palin article everyone suddenly is either from Alaska, severing in the military, or voted for George Bush twice. lol This just shows how desperate the haters are to bring her down.
Go, Sarah, Go!
@WBN are you stupid ignorant or just dumb founded ignorant . Let me enlighten thee ! It took Palin 5 yrs to get a degree in what ? Whatever it was she's not making money from it ! ( 2 ) Palin quit 4 positions in her state not including govenor ,so that makes 5 . She has yet to offer one concrete solution for stabilzing our economy or our country ( 3 ) She preaches responsibility but wasn't it her teenage kid that went out and had a baby out of wed-lock . So PLEASE don't try to compare her to Obama , because you can't compare a peasant to a king ! ...........You can't !
Watching Palin being persecuted reminds me of Jesus being persecuted. Jesus did nothing but tell the truth, and look at the horrible reaction it caused (they must have been Democrats back then) because Palin gets the same reaction. GO SARAH! KEEP ON TELLING THE TRUTH AND MAKING THE LEFT MAD!!!!
It's hard to imagine that many right wing neocon nutjobs assembled in one place. Oh, wait a minute, how many votes did Bush get?
P. S. Don't tell me that a poor person doesn't creat jobs. I'll only respond by saying that a rich person doesn't fix your car, put out your fire, pick your vegetables or teach your children. What the heck do the rich do anyway? If they all disappeared, John Galt-like, tomorrow, life would go on as it always does. Have a nice day!
She's a media giant....... April 7th, 2010 4:54 pm ET
Sarah Palin has rocketed to the top, taking in millions from her book, speeches, TV productions, etc:
Let's wait and see how Bon Jovi, who apprears in Minneapolis tonight, does in attendance compared to Palin. You might be surprised.
BTW, if Palin has 1/4 of the country as her base, I guess you could also say that 3/4 of American's don't like her very much, if at all . . .
I'm surprised they aren't in virginia celebrating confederate history month.
