Palin on 2012: 'If it's right, then we will pursue that'

Sarah Palin discussed the possibility of a presidential run in an interview with a Canadian television show.
Sarah Palin discussed the possibility of a presidential run in an interview with a Canadian television show.

(CNN) – Sarah Palin continues to leave the door to a White House run wide open.

In an interview with "100 Huntley Street," a daily Christian talk show based in Ontario, the former Alaska governor said she "doesn't know politically what is next for me."

But Palin said she will "pursue" a presidential bid in 2012 if she decides it's the best way to help everyday people with their challenges.

The former vice presidential candidate has generally avoided talking specifically about her 2012 plans, but her comments in Canada are her most forthcoming since she told Fox News in February that it would be "absurd" not to consider a presidential bid.

Palin said she and her family have had an "exciting and full ride" since the 2008 presidential campaign ended. Her travels around the country over the last year and a half, she explained, have given her a glimpse of some of the struggles that regular Americans face every day.

"If I can help provide some encouragement, some inspiration, some hope for them to get through their battles and make good decisions and get through a challenge, because that's what we've been able to do, then I am going to stay focused on that," she said in the interview, set to air next week. "Whether that's on a local level in my own little town of Wasilla, or in the Oval Office, if it's right, then we will pursue that."

Palin said her next move depends, in part, on what God has in store for her.

"I do believe that it is a wise thing for us to put our lives in our Creator's hands," she said. "I put my life into God's hands and say, I'm going to do the best that I can every day to bring positive change to people that perhaps need some help. Need opportunity, too."

"That's what I'm going to do, day to day, not necessarily knowing what will bring to my family, to my country, to my life, in the next year, two years, three years down the road," she added.

Palin sat for the interview last week during a visit to Ontario, where she appeared at a charity event.

If she (God Forbid) ever became President of the United States she would go to war with every musilum country, North Korea, and China and then she would quit after two years.

"Full ride" is right! She's had a FREE full ride ever since McCain stupidly picked her for a running mate. Now she's a millionaire to boot? And for what? Being a failed governor, a failed VP candidate, and a general laughingstock. PLEASE let her go away quietly.

Hey Sarah you look funny with your day dreams which goes on and on. Didn't you put yourself in gods hands in 2008 bid? People do work hard to fulfil their dreams. What have you done so far since that time 2008 when god closed the doors!!!

Bravo! This nit-wit was the VERY reason all the Republican's I know simply did NOT vote at all in '08; as well as being able to personally register so many new voters for Democrats... and the VERY reason Republican's LOST the '08 Presidential race BIG TIME! Go Sarah! Hahaha! 'Can't help but thank her for her gigantic part in the U.S. now having the BEST President we have EVER had!

Sorry Sarah, not interested in you. The American people need someone who can finish the jobs they start. You lack that qualification.

Unfortunately she doesn't mean "right" as in the opposite of wrong, she mean "right" as in Right Wing.

QuitterPalin broke her sworn oath to be governor for 4 years. QuitterPalin has spent the time enriching herself rather than keeping her word. Why would any reasonable person listen to QuitterPalin after she lied.

What is absurd is "that she would consider a run!"

Go away, most woman have NO interest in you if they have half a brain!

Take your God, shrill voice, dumb quotes and go back where you came from.

Thanks, John McCain, you were a man I once respected, now a laughing stock and you can thank Palin and your party for that.

Sit down Sarah. Fully supported you as VP. You were more qualified to be a VP than Obama was to be President. NEITHER of you has the qualifications for President. If you run, you won't get nominated. And if you do get nominated, we'll have 4 more years of Obama hell because you won't be elected. Throw your support behind the strongest Republican contender and negotiate a spot for yourself as Secretary of Engery.

And she couldn't stand the personal scrutiny during her run for Vice-President. How is she going to survive a Presidential run? If she thought the press was intrusive before, just imagine what it would be like with her in the spotlight 24/7!
Here is another question. She has adult and minor children, including one special needs child, how does her run for office fit in with the "conservative family values" that she keeps pushing she is in favor of?
While she is a personable and charismatic individual she does not demonstrate the "right stuff" to be President. I know my fellow liberals are going to groan when I say this, but W did demonstrate the "right stuff". He had his problems, but could definitely come off as Populist and Presidential at the same time. If only he had some different cabinet members and advisors...

Wow!!! Palin is making a lot of appearances in CANADA!! Just the other day she was in Hamilton, Ontario. Now she's on 100 Huntley Street?!?! How much money does she make per appearance? I guess she's not making much in the US anymore. Oh and didn't she say that she was taken to a Canadian hospital as a child? I think her American citizenship should be checked – I think she's CANADIAN!!!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!
