Palin on 2012: 'If it's right, then we will pursue that'

Sarah Palin discussed the possibility of a presidential run in an interview with a Canadian television show.
Sarah Palin discussed the possibility of a presidential run in an interview with a Canadian television show.

(CNN) – Sarah Palin continues to leave the door to a White House run wide open.

In an interview with "100 Huntley Street," a daily Christian talk show based in Ontario, the former Alaska governor said she "doesn't know politically what is next for me."

But Palin said she will "pursue" a presidential bid in 2012 if she decides it's the best way to help everyday people with their challenges.

The former vice presidential candidate has generally avoided talking specifically about her 2012 plans, but her comments in Canada are her most forthcoming since she told Fox News in February that it would be "absurd" not to consider a presidential bid.

Palin said she and her family have had an "exciting and full ride" since the 2008 presidential campaign ended. Her travels around the country over the last year and a half, she explained, have given her a glimpse of some of the struggles that regular Americans face every day.

"If I can help provide some encouragement, some inspiration, some hope for them to get through their battles and make good decisions and get through a challenge, because that's what we've been able to do, then I am going to stay focused on that," she said in the interview, set to air next week. "Whether that's on a local level in my own little town of Wasilla, or in the Oval Office, if it's right, then we will pursue that."

Palin said her next move depends, in part, on what God has in store for her.

"I do believe that it is a wise thing for us to put our lives in our Creator's hands," she said. "I put my life into God's hands and say, I'm going to do the best that I can every day to bring positive change to people that perhaps need some help. Need opportunity, too."

"That's what I'm going to do, day to day, not necessarily knowing what will bring to my family, to my country, to my life, in the next year, two years, three years down the road," she added.

Palin sat for the interview last week during a visit to Ontario, where she appeared at a charity event.

If she does, then the Mayans are right. :P

Seriously, I'd rather vote for Nader than her. I don't even like Nader.

The thought of Palin being President is completely rediculous and appauling. She couldn't even answer the questions she was asked during the VP debates in 2008 without talking about topics completely irrelevant. If I have to hear about being a "maverick" or going "rogue" from this incompetent over and over for another election, I'll kick my tv out the window.

She has ample time to prepare for a run if it looks like she'd be the best representitive for conservatives at the time. Hopefully she'll be more fairly accepted than she now is and has been. There's a viper morality that's unfounded and hopefully people are realizing from what's happening under this administration this is well more important than the immaturity she received while so many were mezermized by the well presented and articulate candidate Obama. He didn't work out at all and it's going to be time to try the other options.

Why would Hamilton invite this domestic terrorist to Canada. It is the same as endorsing Jack Perezeau for Prime Minister.

Clearly you will have the support of the 30% of the people who think George W Bush did a good job, who think that the dinosaurs and global warming are "liberal myths", that the world is flat. Furthermore if 1/2 or less of the voters vote that 30% could get you elected.

If that doesn't scare to sit-at-home liberals to get out and vote I don't know what will.

    hahahahahahahahahahaha.....
    hahahahahahahahahahaaahahahahaha...

Okay..hehe...okay, seriously. Soon you will hear conservatives say 'liberals are afraid of Palin' . We are not. She is a joke.
Now if we imagine Sarah Palin as President Of The United States...that is scary. It's scary because we KNOW what it's like to have someone with an inferior intellect in this office.

Oh please please please real news outlets (I thought CNN was one) stop reporting what the bimbo from Alaska has to say! It is enough already. If she does run, then tell us about it. I will say that if the GOP wants to ring the death knell to the GOP as a viable party, then they should nominate her to run for POTUS in 2012!

For crying out loud if this is not proof of what a complete liar this woman is, I don’t know what would be. She has NO intention of ever running for elected office again. All her opponent would have to do is point out that she has quit every job/position she has ever had, been appointed or elected to and she would be toast.
Dumb as she is she does realize that as soon as she says she won’t run her ardent followers will realize they need to invest their time and money in actual candidates. Then she, and her husband, would be forced to get actual jobs.

Dear Sarah, If you really believe that God wants you to bring positive change to people who need some help, why are you slamming the Health Reform bill?

Sarah we all know you have no political future. You're just cashing in on your new found celebrity for as much money as you can grab. Your most likely profession seems to be spewing hate and lies on Faux News – or maybe professional wrestling.

So does that mean that if she were POTUS that god would be making the decisions and not her? I didn't realize that the almighty would get involved in mundane issues like US foreign policy.

Run Sarah Run! Please, this democrat is begging you. Think of the fun we could have with meaningless word salad like this, "If I can help provide some encouragement, some inspiration, some hope for them to get through their battles and make good decisions and get through a challenge, because that's what we've been able to do, then I am going to stay focused on that,"

Palin's most valuable asset is showing every decent American just how evil, mean, dishonest, hateful, sexist, and closed-minded every Democrat in this nation is.

They lied about their evil congressmen being called racist names by the great tea party Americans, they beat the crap out of a woman in New Orelans just for being a conservative, they have bitten off fingers of tea party protesters too.

Democrats are the worst this nation has ever seen, no different than the dixiecrats and klan members that are a part of that party's history. Sarah makes them unhinged and then they show their true colors, thanks Sarah!

  22. THEN QUIT YOU QUITTER!

Yeah, help people with every day struggles, encourage, inspiration and hope, PUKE, YOU MAKE ME SICK. You and your TEABAGGERS should be held for TREASON. And they question whether POTUS is eligible to be POTUS because of his birth certificate, YOU SHOULD BE CHALLENGED FOR THE BRAIN CELLS IN YOUR HEAD. WHEN TEXAS AND ARIZONA SECEDE AND CAGE THEMSELVES WHERE EVER YOU AND YOUR TEABAGGERS GO WITH THEM. GTFOOH PERIOD!

Please run for 2012 you stupid and incompetent dummy.

Run as a Tea Party candidate and take the Stupid (only a Stupid would actually vote for you) vote from the Republicans like Nader did from Gore.

This will make it a smooth sail for my man Obama to cruise to term two.

Keep running in all the presidential elections you want and keep taking the Stupid vote and helping the Democrats continue to control the White House.

Sarah Palin has to be the most self deceived politician out there, and the fact that people are actually showing up to hear her speak speaks to the paucity in their intellectual capacity. She is best suited for one-liners at a pep rally, because she has absolutely no substance between her ears on front burner issues.

When asked a foreign policy question in the 2008 presidential campaing, "Ms. Palin, what's your INSIGHT into Russia?" she said, "Oh, actually Alaska is right next dor to Russia and we can actually stand in Alaska and see into Russia!!"

Arizona needs to pass a bell requiring John McCain show a certificate he is competent to remain in the Senate, having picked this hair-brained loser as a running mate.
