Palin stars in new Rand Paul commercial

Sarah Palin is set to star in a new ad for Rand Paul, a candidate for Senate in Kentucky.

Sarah Palin is set to star in a new ad for Rand Paul, a candidate for Senate in Kentucky.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin's weighing in on the contentious Republican Senate primary battle in Kentucky.

The former Alaska governor is appearing in a new ad for Rand Paul, a physician and the son of former GOP presidential candidate and Texas Rep. Ron Paul. Rand Paul is battling Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson for their party's nomination.

In the television commercial, the narrator says "Paul's conservative approach has the support of Sarah Palin."

The ad then uses an audio clip of the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, who backed Paul earlier this year, endorsing the candidate. "He wants limited government. I respect that and I'm proud to support him," Palin is heard saying.

The television commercial follows a radio ad with Palin that's been in circulation in Kentucky for a couple of weeks, according to the Paul campaign

Paul and Grayson are fighting to succeed Sen. Jim Bunning, the Republican lawmaker who announced last summer that he would not run for a third term. National GOP leaders rallied around Grayson at the time. But Paul, a favorite with conservatives and with many in the Tea Party movement, has picked up steam and some recent polls indicate that he leads Grayson in the GOP primary matchup.

Bunning endorsed Paul last week. On Monday, former New York City mayor and 2008 GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani endorsed Grayson, according to the Grayson campaign.

Kentucky's primary is May 18. State Attorney General Jack Conway and Lt. Gov. Don Mongiardo are the top two candidates battling for the Democratic Senate nomination.

...but Obama is suppose to be the celebrity I thought?!

I mean this is what the Republicans have said from the start but....it seems to me she is the 'star' here.

I wonder when Ms Palin finds time to raise her tribe O' children?
Dashing all over the states with all her verbal vomit, who is home watching the kiddies, how 'bout that special needs kid she has?

The party of family values hasn't rubbed off on her I'm thinking.

Her husband will be the next one with a sex tape.

Wow, an endorsement from the deified priestess of "who needs an edumacation when you've god guns, religion and ideology?" Good enough to get him the vast majority of uneducated votes from people who love voting against their own interests. Gotta love it. I know the way to ultimate destruction of our country while making sure that the top wealthiest 1% survive unscathed!!! la di da di da...."

Why anyone would put any stock into whoever this bimbo endorses is beyond me. I find her an embarrassment to women everywhere... she's not very well educated or informed. She appears to be nothing more than an opportunistic puppet for the extreme right wing. Guess she'll say whatever they want if the price is right.

And to the guys who will respond, "but she's hot"– I just don't see it. Her chin is twice as big as it should be. She kind of reminds me of an old mule we had on our ranch back when I was a kid. But I'll give her credit for this– she has nice hair.

"Sarah Palin has been an exercise in pygmalionism gone wrong. The most famous female politician in the world today is a vain and sanctimonious woman of boundless ambition and no vision." Quote by Janet Bagnall in an article entitled, "Setback for Women", appearing in the Montreal Gazette, February 12, 2010.

One politician says this Thriller from Wasilla personifies courage and clarity. He left out stupidity and arrogance. Here is a woman that claims the POTUS was a part time Senator when in reality, he left the Senate to become POTUS. In most circles we call that a promotion. Here is a woman that served half a term as Gov. of Alaska before quitting claiming the President, was nothing more than a "Community Organizer" while in the same breath she acknowledges him as a "Part Time" Senator. Here is a woman that is so smart, it took 5 colleges for her to lay claim to having an education. Here is a woman that made the accusation that President Obama is the "Re-distributionist-in Chief", a socialist, while she takes, by law, profits from the big oil companies and gives them to the residents of the state of Alaska. Finally here is the man that beat her and her Presidential candidate in the election for the office she claims he has no experience to run. To that final statement my question simply put is this. Except for a sitting President, how many people that run for the office of POTUS can put in their qualifications that they have previous experience as President of the United States?
This woman is dangerous with no brain and if she had half a brain we would have to export her to Pluto. If they had won the election and "President McCain" had missed a heartbeat we would have had an atomic melt down by now with Russia or maybe China or maybe Canada or maybe some yet undiscovered nation. This woman has about 1/1000th the mental capacity of an Ameba and she makes GWB look really smart. Now she is going around endorsing Republican candidates like former Mayor Rudy G. The endorsements being given by these two people amount to a “Kiss of Death” to the election hopes of these Republican candidates.

Fantastic. I hope the message of the ad is strictly positive – whatever you think about Palin, this will deflect all of the false attacks. As much as we'd like it to be new footage, it would actually be a bit bizarre to have canned/over produced footage of Palin endorsing Rand. With good editing, it will be the final nail in the Treyson coffin.

Great, I feel bad for Paul (or good, whichever way you look at it) la de dum supporting la di da! What idiots these conservates are and what a sham they are making of this country. I hope there are enough common sense individuals out there that will just pass these off as off the fringe nuts and elect legitimate individuals who, at worse, differ because of sincere policy beliefs. The Republicans are looking more and more painting themselves in a corner party, and its scary that they have so many gullibles believing the garbage they are handing out.

It's very helpful for voters to know which politicians are aligning themselves with the likes of Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh.

Where were all these concerns about government spending when their hero George W. Bush took a surplus and turned it into a deficit? Bush and the rubberstamp Republicans drove America to near-bankruptcy, and NOW they're screaming Big Government when President Obama tries to fix the Republican messes. Palin, Rand Paul, and the rest of the neocons have zero credibility.

It's time for the media to hold them accountable.

I can't wait. Palin is going to roll through the mid-terms. Hey thugs in Washington, bet you wish you had let the litttle lady return to Alaska in peace? But no, you tried to destroy and bankrupt her and her family.

$600,000 plus in debt because of your loons.

Did you really think we the American people were going to let you destroy and bankrupt this good woman. Come on you kooks in the corrupt LSM.
