(CNN) - In their fourth day of deliberations, a federal jury in Tennessee has so far found a 22 year-old man guilty on two of four counts in a case that involved hacking into Sarah Palin's e-mail account nearly two years ago when she was the vice presidential nominee.
The jury has determined David Kernell, 22, is guilty on felony charges of intentionally accessing Palin's e-mail account without authorization and obstructing an FBI investigation, the Knoxville News Sentinel reports.
Meanwhile, the jury acquitted Kernell on a third charge of wire fraud and remains divided over the fourth charge of identity theft.
It's unclear if the district court judge will order the jurors will order the jury to continue their deliberations, according to the News Sentinel.
In a statement on her Facebook page, Palin said she and her family are "thankful that the jury thoroughly and carefully weighed the evidence and issued a just verdict."
"Besides the obvious invasion of privacy and security concerns surrounding this issue, many of us are concerned about the integrity of our country’s political elections. America’s elections depend upon fair competition." she also wrote. "Violating the law, or simply invading someone’s privacy for political gain, has long been repugnant to Americans’ sense of fair play."

Funny how when you read the comments you would think that justice should be meted out differently depending on whether you were a republican or a democrat. I didn't think it really mattered to the blindfolded lady holding the scales whether you liked or hated who was the victim of the crime. Whatever the final verdict in all 4 counts – at least the jury seems to be weighing their decisions carefully. It is too bad the young man didn't have a better legal team that might have offered a plea deal since he so brazenly bragged about doing it and hoping to find something on her that would derail her candidacy with McCain.
The only thing more amusing than Sarah Palin is her supporters.

The issue about her violating any laws about Emails and retention were splashed around every MSM outlet for 2 WEEKS while they were waiting if this young FELON found any real dirt on Palin on any of those emails he ILLEGALLY HACKED.
If there were any problems with it she would have held accountable, but there were not.

It should not really matter whose account he hacked into. I do agree with him being charged and convicted. However, a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison seems disproportionate.

I really don't think this case had anything to do with who Sarah Palin is. It was about someone hacking into her account.
