Washington (CNN) - Leaving a vehicle full of explosive material in New York City's Times Square is a terrorist act, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday.
Asked if the Saturday incident was a terrorist incident, Gibbs said the act of putting a vehicle with such dangerous materials in Times Square "was intended to terrorize."
"Whoever did that would be categorized as a terrorist, yes," Gibbs said.
Gibbs added that the identity of the person or people responsible remained unknown.

While that was going on, and obviously President Obama was aware of it during Washington comedy central night, no effort was made to either interrupted the show, or make some kind of an anouncement that Times Square was on a lock-down due to a terrorist act. As far the White House was concerned if that SUV didn't blow up in the middle of Times Square it wasn't neccessary to bother the festivity. I wonder if they would have really stop the show if the SUV did really blow up. I doubt it.
Finally, the White House has declared an Act of Terrorism! What it is going to take to make the Administration understand that we are at war? No more sweetening what is actually happening in America and abroad. Iran is making nuclear energy for power!!?? How stupid can we be. Where are the sanctions against Iran?
