Buffalo, New York (CNN) –- President Obama will visit the Youngstown, Ohio area on Tuesday to continue his tour of main street America.
In recent weeks, the President has visited Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, and New York to tout the improving economy and more recently, positive jobs numbers. The government's latest monthly jobs report, released Friday, showed employers added 290,000 jobs in April, the best gain in four years.
Youngstown is considered a "Rust Belt" city where steel manufacturing once thrived. But the city has long suffered from a declining economy and a shrinking population. The area has seen some success in recent years by creating high tech jobs.
**yawn*** another crowd of rehearsed, handselected, presoaked....preshrunk...kool-aid swilling obamabots...will be in attendance.
It's good to see that while there are so many tragedies occurring in this country, Obama finds the time to continually campaign...especially to poor areas where he'll prop up their desperation with the false hope he's full of.
I guess he will get around to something important at some point other than campaigning.
Keep smokin that weed O'BAMA ,maybe you"ll start believen your own hype !!
In April, employers added 290,000 jobs. The best gain in FOUR years. As usual, it's going to take a while to clean up the mess that began in December 2007! Oh, but I bet the rabid right wing can try to blame President Obama for that, too.
Pulling the American economy out of the downward spiral that W created...now, that's change I can believe in! FYI -Obama wasn't in office four years ago when we started bleeding jobs. He's there now, and he's getting things back on track. Thank you Mr. President!
its a rust belt city because we ship all the jobs to china and mexico....
Here's a dose of reality for the people who complain that the President can't eat chicken wings while the people in Tennessee are recovering from the flood. Here's a direct quote from the Tennesseean Times, "Governor Phil Bredesen and the Federal Emergency Management Agency announced today more than $28 million in disaster assistance has been approved to help with recovery efforts just one week after a federal major disaster declaration was requested for severe storms and flooding that struck Tennessee." Gov. Bredesean went on to say, "We’re very pleased with the pace of recovery operations, but we aren’t letting up. State agencies and the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency will continue working hand-in-hand with FEMA and local partners to make sure those affected by the flooding have access to the resources they need to help rebuild their lives.”
Oh, but I'm sure you'd rather have the good ole days of "Great Work Brownie".
Good for her and Michelle Obama. People need to work. Job is number one
Why not call it the "White House to the unemployment line" tour since that's where he's headed? We need jobs, not more useless Democrat rhetoric.
Here comes hopey changey. He going to tell you it's working. Well him not you Youngstown. He only wants your vote for his democrat losers buddies.
Another day, another lie from the pathetic liar-in-chief.
As a native from the Buckeye State, I love this educated, intelligent, caring man, President Obama. I received the best education in the Buckeye state starting in grade school and it has carried me many places in my life. I urge people of the Buckeye state to continue on with their excellence in education.
The best president ever !!! The dogs keep on barking while the caravan passes by !!! Good job Mr. Prez !!!

To spend so much time outside the White House, this clown still spends money like no one in history. Oh well, while he is out of the White House I guess less is being spent than when he is inside eating his $100.00 per pound steaks "imported from Japan" with his friends at taxpayer expense.
TCM ... ditto that. You are so right.
Together ... North East South West........One vote at a time to save
America from Bozo Obama.
Being from Warren Ohio (right outside of Youngstown), I am proud that the president will be coming to the Ohio valley to show his concern for us. Pathetic angry Republicans keep acting as though the President is bringing the world to the end even though all evidence points otherwise. Jobs picking up (check), world respect growing (check), serious effort given for natural disaster recovery (check). Unfortunately, he can't change his color, and that really got people angry. 10% of tea party members (according to a recent poll) admit that the presidents color also influences their negative opinion of him. I truly believe they could announce the president found a cure for cancer, and republicans would complain that it is another socialist agenda to spread the wealth.
