(CNN) - Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin joined the national battle over Arizona's controversial new immigration law Saturday, appearing with Gov. Jan Brewer in Phoenix to denounce the Obama administration's criticism of the law.

"It's time for Americans across this great country to stand up and say 'We're all Arizonans now and, in clear unity, we say Mr. President, do your job, secure our border,'" Palin said, standing beside Brewer at a Saturday afternoon press conference.

Brewer used the event to announce her first appointment to the state's new Joint Border Security Advisory Committee and the launch of a website to combat what she said was a national misinformation campaign about the state's new law.

Palin and Brewer, both Republicans, decried plans by opponents of the new law to boycott the state in protest.

When Palin's beloved GW Bush was President he did NOTHING regarding this immigration issue. McCain did Nothing regarding this issue either.
NOW Palin is complainig that Obama is not doing his job?

In this blog, it is not the issue of the immigration law itself...it is the issue that PALIN twists the truth AGAIN to act like this is Obama's fault (like oil drilling...get it?). Palin tries to act like she is some kind of expert on issues she knows nothing about.

Immigration in Arizona should have been handled by MCCAIN years ago...hasn't the old dog been there forever?? Saran, go talk TO JOHN.

Its such a shame; as many people as there are looking for work, we have to hear from a complete idiot that needed four (4) colleges to get one degree in journalism.

Think about it, the GOP, tea part brainers, and/or Falin followers, listen to a complete putz that quit her job just at the time millions are looking for work. Great example there Sarah!

Obama is not a dictator and does not have the power without Congress making things happen. Palin's spurious accusations truly demonstrate
her dearth of understanding of the dynamics of governing.

Obama is trying to pass immigration reform, it is the GOP that is slowing this process by again being the party of NO.

It is hard to believe someone so uninformed shouts out her opinions of what is best for Americans! So unbelievable that she has the public attention. I hope, in the end, we do not show ourselves to be a nation of dummies who support non-critical thinking in our leaders.

Ah, Sarah Palin, ever the populist hero. Defending the rights of lemmings and dupes who fall for her shallow shark.

She again displays her abyssmal comprehension of the issue and the process of government. But then again, she's preaching to the ill and uninformed, playing on their misguided emotion.

Yep, she's a modern day hero alright. A hero for maintaining ignorance. With a nanosecond worth of thought and research, Palins continuous streams of word soup would discounted and discredited. But in sister sarahs crowd, research is for elitists.

Her opinion means no more to me than the opinion of my yard man, my hair stylist and the check out girl at Kroger – in fact, I think those folks are better informed than palin.

This woman is the perfect poster child for the stay in school slogan. This is also another perfect example of why your parents taught you to keep your mouth shut unless you have something relevant to say and an empty wagon makes the most noise. When President Obama ( I repeat President Obama) was elected, something happened to the brain of a certain number of people. MAD magazine could have the perfect cartoon now. It could be just like the attempt at BP to put the dome over the oil spill , the brains of Sara Palin and her group-think friends are spewing out all over the place with little success at putting them back in their heads. She only runs around jumpoing on things that would cause controversy,m uses slogans, and runs from any line of hard questioning. Her shooting star is going to end up just like any meterite and shooting star when it burns out in the atmosphere, a piece of useless rock.
