This left winger needs to take a hike. May be she can get a few bucks from Obama and provide care to his aunt. Say, why isn't Obama helping out his Aunt? If she's part of the family, shouldn't he be stepping up to help her? After all, he's a very wealthy man. To throw her out in the cold and not provide her any support is very cold hearted. Is this what was taught in Rev. Wright's church?

Blanche Lincoln isn't part of anyone's solution. On behalf of her state, she basically accepted a bribe to vote against the express desires of the American people, basically betraying them. It was a vote that put at risk the American economy and the financial well-being of millions of American citizens.

No Senator Lincoln, you are not the solution. You Senator are part of the problem but never fear, you have taken more than enough money from Big Banks, Health Insurance Industries and Big Oil Companies to live well for the remainder of your days.

Thanks to the advent of all the recent high tech gadgets the light is shinning now and it is shinning bright. The public can see just what our elected officials are doing up there in Washington and you guys were so dumb to it all that you thought we would not see what was going on. Well Senator, we see and we do not like what we see but rest assured that Democrats are not the only ones being punished at the polls now. Republicans are being punished also. Have a nice trip home to Arkansas and your coming private life.

There have been many articles written on Sarah Palin and Laura Bush where I welcomed the opportunity to comment. However, there was no post in which to do so. It is awfully convenient that CNN would have a comment section on a poor innocent lady, so that red-necks can tear her apart. I can see straight through what CNN is doing. They are no better than Fox.

Senator Lincoln has been a major part of the PROBLEM this year. She might as well become a Republican since she voted NO on everything. She takes huge corporate dollars from the insurance industry and you saw how she voted.

Lincoln is as clueless and anti-American people as all the Republicans. I hope she gets defeated in a landslide. It's time to show the obstructionists it is the People who have the power with our vote. All the corrupt and destructive corporations may have a lot of money to throw around but we have the VOTE and we decide who stays and who goes in Congress.

Traitors to the People – which is almost every Republicans and people like Lincoln- will not be serving in Congress ever again.

We should not be anti-incumbent. We should be looking at who stood up for us and who stood with the corporations against us.

We also need to make sure we return the Democratic majority to both the House and the Senate so we can get more things done. Republicans are going to play games, support corporations, and work against America as usual if we let them have any more seats. It's time to remove these do-nothings, no solutions, hate-filled liars and racists from office.

Democrats are the Party of the People and will continue to work hard for us.

    TRUTH:

You are joking right? CNN allows a post for Palin about 4 times a week. It is part of their Palin infatuation. If she breathes they are writing about it and taking it out of context.

    BEVERLYNC:

You sound so out of touch it is sad. You think Lincoln isn't on the left????????? LOL ok......... I guess you are in for a rude awakening when the Dems are voted out of the House, lose the massive majority in the Senate and
TRUE fiscal conservatives start taking back this country.

(seriously? "Democrats are the Party of the People and will continue to work hard for us." what exactly have they done for you if you aren't on wlefare getting a free check from them?)

I think it is crazy to be conned into supporting anything that is obviously completely against one's own best interests. Today anyone in the majority (>90%) who is manipulated by the gross dishonesty and self-serving irresponsibility of the Republican Party falls into that self-delusional category. I don't fault favoring traditional Republican philosophy over Democratic, I do myself, but the Republicans have drastically departed from any sincere concern for the average American and have become owned and controlled 'puppets' for Special Interests and the influential, powerful and extremely wealthy few who 'pull their strings'.

Bush-Cheney clearly demonstrated all of that over their eight years by blatantly and arrogantly using their offices and America's resources for a private agenda to benefit only the few (<5%) and while giving everyone else just apathy, the costs and an abundance of subterfuge. The Republican Party totally supported all of it and continues now in trying to use scare tactics and deceptive appeals to excite emotions and manipulate public opinion, hoping to return to 'more of the same', all while they unconscionably offer absolutely nothing for the average American. The Democrats are far from perfect and need to be held accountable but to allow our emotions to be subverted and used to create support for 'more of the same' is the crazy I referred to.

The drastic and severe current problems are not because the Democrats are spending as those claiming to be ‘conservative’ try to convince us; rather the Democrats are advocating spending in response to the problems they inherited and for anyone to think that the problems can be solved by doing nothing, they are just buying into the con. While not wanting Socialism and yet realizing we need some Liberalism to regain balance and to counter the drastic neglect of total irresponsibility, our only real hope is in demanding that the Democrats act reasonably and in firmly rejecting what the Republicans have become. We can then hope that the pressure will insure that both parties will become conscientious, honest and responsible to the people instead of just deceptively pursuing their political ambitions at all costs. This country and the world can’t possibly endure ‘more of the same’.

I don't agree with her on everything....but she is right. If both parties rid themselves of moderates there will be more gridlock. I think the only way to encourage the GOP to moderate is to show that ability within the Democratic party and to show it to be a winning formula. The last thing the Dems need is to become more dogmatic. We have seen what that did for the GOP no thanks.

No Senator Lincoln, you are part of the problem.

We had a historical chance to do something truly great with health care reform. You and your corporate hacks deranged it into something that's actually good for the insurance companies.

    Blanche Lincoln, you have failed.
