(CNN) - Indiana Rep. Mike Pence is returning to the early primary state of South Carolina as he continues to consider the possibility of a presidential bid in 2012.

Pence will host a fundraiser for Rep. Joe Wilson on Friday in Columbia.

The Chairman of the House Republican Conference first made a splash in the Palmetto State when he spoke to the South Carolina GOP's annual Silver Elephant Banquet - the state party's biggest fundraiser - in May 2008.

Since then, he has made a handful of stops in the state - along with political visits to the key states of Iowa and New Hampshire.

Maybe we should just include every single republican in the party and add all the tea bags to the primaries and just get going. Do they think they have a chance. The most asinine republican going PALIN or Newtie the tootie will win either way they can't beat Obama. The economy in spite of the republican efforts to sink every thing the democrats are trying to do to bring us back from the brink of destruction that they and Bush took us, is coming back and by 2012 it will be in full swing. The republicans think they are scaming the public like they did in the eight years they sucked their thumbs and let Bush and cheney tear the country down, but they are smarter than you think, even the republicans who didn't show up to vote in PA and KY.

Rep. Joe Wilson is one sick puppy and I guess he found that his "you lie" outburst didn't score him any "brownie" points because Scott Brown is the GOP's choice. Poor Joe.

I am not sure why he is going to South Carolina if God has already told him to run for president, unless he needs that coal and oil money to get his campaign started.

And we'll call him "Snowball", cause he has about a snowball's chance in a very hot place to get the nomination. This from a Hoosier!

Repugnants express fear of poor brown people. As a nation, we have a lot more to fear from rich white people like Mike Pence and Joe Wilson who front for even richer white people (a lot of whom are foreigners, like Rupert Murdoch) who are the real power in this country.

Understandably, the GOPers are going to have to pick SOMEONE to run against President Obama in 2012, but Pence just doesn't seem to be the kinda guy who can get it done. Unfortunately for the GOP, there really doesn't seem to be anyone who might even come close to defeating our current president.

For all that Limbaugh is the republican head honcho right now, he just isn't . . . well . . . presidential.

Today the right wingnuts have to be 'gloating' over their near win in PA, in a district McCain won over Obama. I think the GOP has misread the population, and November may not be the democratic massacre they have predicted. With Kentucky soundly rejecting the mainstream republican candidate, I think it is the GOP who is in deep trouble.

Mike Pence is a bum. This fool plans on running for POTUS in 2012. Being a high ranking member of the Party of No will not get you no where. As far as Joe Wilson goes, I'm sending money to any candidate running against him.

Really Pence? Really? Too funny to even comprehend. Pence is such a "butt-kisser" who would take this guy seriously? I mean, really? Pence is like Pawlenty, he can't seem to make up his mind on which issues and policies he stands for today or tomorrow.
