DCCC launches interactive site to vote on Republican ideas

Washington (CNN) – Just two days after the House Republicans launched AmericaSpeakingOut.com, an interactive site geared toward collecting ideas for the GOP, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee launched a site that allows their supporters to vote for the worst GOP ideas.

GOPContractWithAmerica.com is a campaign website that links to a new Facebook application that allows supporters to fill out a poll and share it with their Facebook friends. Republicans have said their new site is not campaign oriented.

"The DCCC launched this new initiative to enable our four million plus grassroots supporters to vote for the worst GOP priorities that benefited big corporate special interests under George W. Bush," DCCC Spokesman Ryan Rudominer told CNN in an e-mail. "The DCCC will continue on the cutting edge in allowing our grassroots supporters' voices to be heard."

The custom designed Facebook application, which went live Thursday morning, will be used throughout the election cycle.

The DCCC has a website to allow supporters to vote for GOP ideas? Is that because there are no DCCC ideas to choice from? The DCCC sounds like its being run by a group of renegade 12 year olds! !

America needs to remember these awful attacks on the general populace so that it will not happen again. We need to be building a future for all Americans, not just the mega-rich.

It would have been nice if you'd given us a link to the Facebook page, you know, like you did for the GOP sites.

Don't have any ideas of their own, but the old ones. Now they are trying to recruit people for more up to date ideas and then pretend that they thought of them all by their little lonesome. Too late to try to figure out ideas now. The GOP is toast. You should have worked with this president just like you did with the ones before him. Now you wonder why the rest of America calls you racist. Your party acts and looks rascist to me.

I guess Hollywood, HARPO, SEIU, ACORN, Auto labor Unions and the rest are not really special interest groups that are run by the big corporations and heavy pocketed libtards like George Soros. Get real DCCC, America is on to your BS! This Administration has been a failed social experiment from day one, our borders are being over run, our economy is in shambles, our social entitlements are gone and we now have an environmental disaster of epic proportion in the Gulf of Mexico because our elected officials suck on the campaign funding teats harder than they suck on each other! No wonder their getting concerned about domestic terrorism, or should we dare say domestic patriotism?

So you are supposed to vote for the "worst" GOP policy proposal?

How in the world is a person to choose?

Wonder if the GOP asks voters whether they should continue their undying support for big business? Or continue on with their obstruction against the survival of our country? Continue with their goals of destroy our president, party first, win at any cost.?
Continue to lie, distort, spew their anger, fearmongering, discrimination, and their hypocrasy? Continue to represent Wall St, sacrificing our country and the American people? Hide behind their Bibles while committing numerous sins?
And, will they tell the people they will some day do what they were elected to do and put our country and us first??
The nerve of these irresponsible politicians is unbelievable!

I hope the DCCC site is better than the GOP site. I tried it for a long time the day it opened, and it was awful. Slow, 50% error rate, voting didn't work, double posting (when you didn't get an error). It seemed to have really dumb, not well thought out ideas ("stop spending" with no explanation, for example) interspersed with ideas that would be very embarrassing to the GOP, such as indicting Bush and Cheney.

Checking today, it seems that progressive thought has taken over the GOP site, with lots of positive votes for things like stopping the War on Drugs, holding corporations liable for their collusion and atrocities, allowing gays to marry, and single payer health care. The site is still responding horribly.

Wouldn't it be more productive for Democrats to get on this site and comment on the BEST ideas? Who cares where they come from? For that matter, who cares about a simple "vote" without comment??
