Palin records robocall for Fiorina

Sarah Palin has recorded a robocall on Carly Fiorina's behalf.

Sarah Palin has recorded a robocall on Carly Fiorina's behalf.

Burbank, California (CNN) - Sarah Palin recorded a robocall that went out to voters in the last few days on behalf of California Republican Senatorial candidate Carly Fiorina, a spokeswoman for Fiorina's campaign confirms to CNN. In the call Palin said she wants to "….help get our country back on track" by supporting Fiorina.

Palin's endorsement of Fiorina last month had irked some Tea Party activists in the state who backed state assemblyman Chuck DeVore. Fiorina has been attending some Tea Party meetings in the last few weeks trying to build up her support among that group.

In a speech to the anti-abortion group Susan B. Anthony List last month Palin defended her endorsement. "Some wanting to accuse her of being a RINO (Republican In Name Only), I say no, no. There in the deep blue California, she is unabashedly pro-life, and all those other common sense conservative things that she stands for. She's the real deal. And I appreciate you, too, being bold enough and strong enough to take a stand in that race and to take a stand in so many of these races across the country," Palin said.

DeVore's campaign reacted to the call said "Chuck DeVore doesn't do robocalls, given his opposition to things are, well, illegal. A pity Carly Fiorina doesn't feel the same way. But then, she usually doesn't."

Fiorina campaign spokeswoman Amy Thoma told CNN the Palin call is legal because it is involving a federal race-not a state one which does not allow such calls.

  2. Save America, impeach the treasonous republicans

The question is, "Would Sarah ever support a candidate who is not wealthy?" I do not believe that Californians will back the Palin endorsed candidate. Can you imagine getting a call and this screeching voice telling you to vote for a wingnut in a moderate's clothing? I am sure most will hang up before she finishes, "This is Sarah Palin, you betcha, drill here, drill now," ...click.

I can't understand why any candidates would use robo calls when all they do is irritate people. It would be especially irrating to hear one from someone as uninformed as half term Palin. I pray the results tonight will show how little support there really is for the tea baggers.

If at this point in time you can't comprehend the SHEER ineptitude that is Sarah Palin then you perhaps you should forfeit your right to vote.
Politically, she's the kiss of death due to her being a complete imbecile but who seriously doesn't realize that Fiorina RAN HP INTO THE GROUND and has a HUGE reputation for being a complete nutjob psycopath!?

Why would Fiorina want an endorsement from such a farcical individual?

No surprise there. A wealthy, ethically-challenged, failed former governor endorsing a wealthy, ethically-challenged, failed former CEO. They might as well have been separated at birth.

Now there's a reason not to vote for Carley. Sarah is supporting her.

Palin + Fiorina + Whitman = kiss of death and corporate elitist control of CA. I don't trust a fired CEO that was accused of spying on her on staff and a mega-billionaire elitist that thinks she can buy her way into office.

Let's see, fired 28,000 employees. Hired back 30,000, all overseas. Gee, how does that help the US economy? Was fired from her job and took a fortune 30 company to past Fortune 300. And now we want to put her in the US Senate? She said she knows how to run a business and I believe that, right into the ground. And who's interests will she be looking out for? She want to bring up Sen. Boxer's record and run on it. Let's hope Barbara runs on her own record and Carly's!

"There in the deep blue California," she says. What the hell is she talking about? This woman is an illiterate idiot. The only difference between she and Carly is that Carly has held an actual job in her past. Problem is she didn't do it very well and HP fired her; I worked there before I got laid off like so many others. We don't need that in Calif., thanks! Sarah, shut the hell up; you two could be called the twisted sisters.

"[Voters] get a bit irritated with just being inundated and you're seeing a lot of that of course with the huge amounts of money that Barack Obama is able to spend on his ads and his robocalls also."

Sarah Palin during the '08 campaign.

    Can anyone say hypocrite???

Thank you Carly for stepping in to serve the citizens of California and America and thank you, Sarah Palin for your support of Carly's campaign. We are fortunate to have two reasonable, intelligent, strong valued women like Carly and Sarah willing to put up with the difficulty of modern politics to serve their country. I look forward to Carly's win over Barbara Boxer.

  16. Uncensored Palin

A forum where Sarah Palin can speak her mind, unfettered by the liberal media, unfettered by questions which insult her "intelligence", unfettered by fact checkers, and a forum which alliows her to spotlight her wit, vast knowledge of world facts, and her supreme common sense which MUST be more intelligent than all of the 'deep blue' voters who happen to be the majority of California.

    Welcome to Sara's ROBOCALL!!

    FYI; No questions allowed.

How much is Sarah getting paid to do these calls?

I don't think she does anything if there isn't a paycheck involved.

I remember that Carly use to bring her own hair stylist on corporate trips for HP, of course on the corporate jet. This woman was not good for business and is certainly not good for Calif.! No on Carly! Palin....not even worth another comment other than "pathetic."

Anyone who'd refer to these two woman as "intelligent", especially Palin, is making me laugh and throw up at the same time! My Jack Russell terrier has more brains in his tail. As for Carly, I think her record at HP speaks for itself...terrible. You'd be a fool to vote for her.

Facinating how Sister Sarah thinks she can speak for Californians. Well. she couldn't be farther from the truth. In fact her endorsment is a real put down. California is a very big state with a great number of important issues at this time, so S.P. can in no way influence any thinking Californian.YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!
