(CNN) – Sarah Palin says its time for President Barack Obama to pick up the phone and make some calls – maybe even to her.
In her latest post on Facebook, the former Alaska governor takes aim at the president for not speaking directly with BP CEO Tony Hayward during the ongoing Gulf Coast crisis. Obama told NBC Tuesday that he has not spoken with Hayward because "when you talk to a guy like a BP CEO, he's gonna say all the right things to me - I'm not interested in words, I'm interested in actions."
Palin wrote that Obama's comments amount to "further proof that it bodes well to have some sort of executive experience before occupying the Oval Office," and added that the president should call experts who lived through the 1989 Exxon-Valdez oil spill in Alaska – including herself.
"We've all lived and worked through the Exxon-Valdez spill," she wrote. "They can help you. Give them a call. Or, what the heck, give me a call."
"Based on my experience working with oil execs as an oil regulator and then as a Governor, you must verify what the oil companies claim – because their perception of circumstances and situations dealing with public resources and public trust is not necessarily shared by those who own America's public resources and trust," Palin added.
In the lengthy Facebook post, the former vice presidential nominee also revives battles of the 2008 presidential campaign while targeting Obama's lack of executive experience.
"My experience (though, granted, I got the message loud and clear during the campaign that my executive experience managing the fastest growing community in the state, and then running the largest state in the union, was nothing compared to the experiences of a community organizer) showed me how government officials and oil execs could scratch each others' backs to the detriment of the public, and it made me ill," she said.

Who is writing this stuff for her?
Sarah, he's kind of busy right now. He doesn't have time for your gimmicky aspartame-slathered bs. Why don't you go throw a tea party or a tupperware party or whatever it is that you people do.
Good lord, Sarah Palin IS the biggest political troll ever.
Call her for advice!!!????? Drill Baby Drill!!!???? I commend her for making a boat load of money off of the ignorant and hate filled people of this country, but Sarah Palin could not give advice to a child, let alone the president of the United States. Why would anybody with a half of brain would listen to this woman. The Department of Education should use her example of " Why Children Should Stay In School".
Who needs advice from a quitter? Sure, President Obama doesn't have any executive experience. But none is required by our Constitution. Palin, you cost John McCain the presidency and you know it.
REALLY LOL
Coming from the DIM WITT that could not hack it as GOVERNOR is now giving advice to be PRESIDENT REALLY LOL
Whats next Blind People are going to give DRIVING LESSONS , crack heads telling drugs are bad and no one should do them while snorting it at the same time LOL
From the 47% of America that voted for you we thank you Sarah for pointing out that the other 53% should be wondering why Obama is president. Hope is not a plan folks
Absolutely, he should call her and ask for guidance so long as she agrees that the conversation will be recorded and published in its entirety. My biggest complain is how critical she is of other people and their policies while she doesn't voice any of her own thoughts on a solution. Just saying "smaller government" for example does not tell how you downsize it, where the cuts go, how fast, etc...
Based on how little she likes interviews I'd be amazed if she would be willing to take any questions on how to solve this crisis.
Since Palin seemed to be quite adept at ignoring the lessons learned by the Exxon-Valdez spill, I do not see how she has much to say about the matter. Of course since she specializes in grandstanding as opposed to getting things done, she is fully in her element.
Nothing but insults from Palin– nothing positive, or uplifting or respectful. Nothing unifying. Must think she's still campaigning.
Of course, her great "executive' experience in Alaska– with a state population one fourth of Chicago metropolis– would really help plug that gusher at 5000 ft bsl.
I can honestly say Palin and Obama have nothing to talk about.
And the president is right. BP will just say all the right things then carry on as they please.
Sarah you want to speak to someone, then sit down with a real journalist for an interview, lets she if you know anything.
Isn't the damage and cleanup in Alaska still still going on after all these years?
Since Sarah is such an expert, I want to hear her answer some questions on the science of deep water drilling and the capping of wells, even shallow ones.
When is this lady going to realize that she is a comical line to us.
When the president need advice on Moose Hunting, maybe he'll pickup the phone and call you!
He would most likely recorded robo message about DRILL BABY, DRILL.
She's an expert because she can see an oil spill from her house, not!
I got something to call her, but she wont like to hear it. And as for managing the fastest growing community in the state....lol, dream on sister the only thing larger than that pipe dream is the pipeline running through your state. And that one is full of leaks and horrible fluids. What a ding bat!
I will call her! I will call her an idot!!!
Her "executive experience" didn't even last a full term. Half-term governor and full-term idiot.
Hey, I would like Obama to call me, too, but he's pretty busy right now, unlike quitters who left their state in a financial lurch.
Why, CNN, do you feel it necessary to keep reporting every time this idiot updates a Facebook page? My daughters' pages show more insight than hers.
Palin is a moron. This chic will try and spin anything she can. What the president is saying is he doesn't want to hear some CEO spin this, he want's to see action and is talking to those best able to make things happen. Miss 'Let's drill for oil in Alaska' certainly has nerve to suggest that President Obama is getting his back scratched by big oil. As an oil regulator we just who's back is getting scratched, I wonder if Sarah went on any free trips while she was a regulator?
Sarah, put a fork in it. You're nothing but a quitter who will never have a chance at the White House.
Palin just owned him
Holy Mackerel, why didn't I think about that first? B. Obama call Sarah Palin, the EXPERT, to get advice on how to resolve the Oil Spill !!!!! Somebody, please get me Sarah's e-mail. There's a Cinema Cafe in Clearwater, Florida that needs some stand-up comics.
Why should President Obama call Palin? Because she can see the oil spill from her window?
Obama needs to talk to someone who regulated the oil industry with success, that person would be Sarah Palin. Another reason why she'd make a better President than Obama. Seriously, he has no executive experience and we wonder why we're in this mess
Just further proof, she's an idiot.
