Primary update, 12:33 a.m. ET: Nevada

(CNN) - Sharron Angle has won the Republican Senate nomination in Nevada, the Associated Press projects. Angle's candidacy was supported by the Tea Party movement. She faces Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, the Democratic nominee, in November.

GOP Senate primary:
Sharron Angle – 48,899 38.7%
Sue Lowden – 35,284 27.9%
Danny Tarkanian – 28,590 22.6%

59% of precincts reporting

    Bring on the Tea Party. Paul, Knotts and now Angle. Can't wait for some more rhetoric from the "Real Americans".

    Let them speak and then let Boehner and McConnell rope them in!

    Too bad, no Lowden health plan to exchange chickens for medical assistance from those non-existent doctors who are so caring that money doesn't matter. That was one of the more coherent Repub health care reform plans.

    Great! the Grand Tea Party got it thair way-and now Reid has to vaporize her just like he did with Lowden.I hope he does-America needs more moderates and Indys not Tea and Coffee party madness.
