With $9.99 stress-relief toy buyers can 'crush' Obama.

Washington (CNN) - For about $10 you can give President Obama the squeeze – or crush his head, if you're especially stressed.

Not the real president, but his likeness found in a new mushy toy being called the "Obama Stress Head."

The item is being sold by the conservative magazine, The Weekly Standard for $9.99.

"Getting squeezed by Obama's policies? Squeeze back!" a headline blares on a website selling the toy.

The sales pitch also boasts, "Go ahead. Give the Commander in Chief a big squeeze. With our soft, mushy Obama Stress Head, you can crush those half-baked liberal ideas before they do any more damage."

Meanwhile, the sales ad also touts what some may see as offensive.

"Pin his ears back, turn that smile upside down. Come on…you know you want to," the website states.

The site also promises upcoming, similar crushable toys in the likeness of "more of your favorite liberals – Pelosi, Biden and more."

The Democratic National Committee has responded to the sales pitch.

In a statement to CNN, Press Secretary Hari Sevugan said, "Given the civil war between factions of the right that has left the Republican party bloodied, bitterly divided and drained of resources heading into election season, and also given the waning of influence of establishment institutions like the Weekly Standard to shape the future of the right, we understand that they have a lot to be stressed about over there."

Jerry Brown IS correct...the Conservative neo-confederates have turned into the modern-day version of Josef Goebbels radical propaganda. So since the Neo-Confederates can't legally lynch, they resort to this kind of sick garbage.

Does he come with a squeaky noise maker when he's squeezed? I love it. I can squeeze him everytime I approve of his efforts. That's like squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak.

Do you think they have any Senate Republican squeeze toys? I bet they don't squeak though ... I bet they probably make a rushing whoosh that's like, fart, few, rumble, rumble, splaaaw.

    Gotta get one!

So, this answers Jack Cafferty's question regarding the loss of any
"semblance of dignity" in American politics. This publication is
the epitome of loss of dignity, and you say "some MAY see" this " as
That is putting it mildly. It IS offensive, pathetic, desperate,
un-American, dirty, and idiotic. I would expect no less from Bill
By the way, CNN Ticker, thank you for channeling Palin's Facebook,
Fox News guests (Rove) and now the Weekly Standard. NOT!!!!!!
    This is lazy man's news.

Actually, it looks like a well-made squishy toy. Obviously it's tongue-in-cheek, the toy looks cheerful and friendly. If I find it at a garage sale in a year, I'll buy it for $2.

If they really wanted to be insulting, they'd have made a robotic-looking doll that speaks whatever you type into an attached "tele-prompter" - make it a USB device you can plug into your PC, then you can simply type your Conservative Rant in Word and have the toy read it word for word!! Great at parties! Have it read Palin's Twitter blogs!

Dang....now I want want of THOSE talking toys!
Why has The Standard let me down!!!?!!!

It is a sorry state of affairs when one political party resorts to this type of degrading of our President. Ignorant, intolerant, hate-filled little minds seek to profit from spreading hate. Despicable!

I'm a very conservative guy, but this is just stupid. I said the same thing when Bush was in office, and when Clinton was in office. You may disagree with the president. You may not respect him. You may genuinely dislike him. However, show some respect for the office he occupies.

Funny how the right and its lackeys are always trying to convince people of their lies:

    – Tax cuts for the wealthy creates job (yeah, overseas where labor is cheap and environmental regulations don’t exist ...)
    – De-regulating business is a good thing (tell that to the people of the Gulf, where BP’s compliance with safety regulations was voluntary)
    – Cutting taxes while waging two wars will not create a deficit (no, it first eliminates the Clinton budget surplus, THEN creates a huge deficit)
    – The market will correct itself (tell that to everyone who lost everything to Enron, Wall Street, etc., etc., etc.)
    – President Obama is "squeezing" you (even though 95% of Americans received a tax cut since he's been in office and the President and his policies pulled us back from the brink of a Great Depression).

Sadly, there are a lot of dupes out their whose fears and ignorance are being exploited by the Republicans and their cronies.

Why those idiots won't wake up to the truth that they're being USED is beyond me!

    I love it , I want one!

Hey, how come no one seems concerned anymore about violent speech that incites violence? Obama has said he wants to keep a boot on the throat of BP and he is looking for someone's butt to kick. Sounds like the kind of speech some loney toon lefty might hear and think it is okay to commit violent acts against BP property or employees. Guess the press and Pelosi are only concerned about something a conservative says or a Tea Party supporter says.

This is to funny for words. The Republican Party is not stressed nor is it about to go broke. Wishful thinking and outright lies by the liberals. If there is any doubt about the demorat party, just check out the challenger to Jim DeMint in South Carolina. This liberal does not know what TARP is nor is he capable of making a coherent sentence. Come December 2010, the conservatives will be saying how sweet it is to be rid of so many liberals.

A perfect example of the rightwing mentality is goofy Ms. Angle in Nevada. Perhaps all these nutcase right wingers forgot who put this country on the slippery slope that we've found ourselves in. We've still got them in the Obama administration, such as the perverts in the Minerals Materials Division who were having sex and drug orgies in their offices while they were supposed to be watching criminals such as BP. Obama should have thrown out any rethug holdovers on their oversexed a$$es. And our former Secretary of the Interior, Gail Norton, wasn't she a beauty. Worked her worthless butt into a nice position with Shell Oil. SUPRISE!! SUPRISE!!

    REPUBLICANS....worthless pieces of horse dung.

Your life doesn't suck because of Bush. Your life sucks because you're such an freakin' idiot that you actually think you life sucks because of Bush.

Sit down with paper and a pencil (or in your case, a crayon – wouldn't want you to injure yourself) and think about it for a few hours. You'll get it eventually.

Why is it that its ok to make fun of the right, but not the left?
This is meant as a joke, noting more, will people buy it? Sure which might just help the economy. I have Bobble heads of Bush, Clinton, and am waiting on one for Obama. There is noting wrong with poking fun at our leaders.
People need to stop with the race card, President Obama is half white, which means that white people could also try to use the race card, but don't.
For those that think one party is better then the other, I suggest you take a good long hard look at both. Do your own research and you will see that they both are pretty bad.
What would be wrong with a heavy dose of Common Sense government?

The tea partiers and GOP really need to check themselves. How about tyeh try inventing ideas to aid the president instead of this nonsense. They have the nerve to wonder why people do not like what they stand for. I for one will definitely be voting the GOP out. Nothing but haters and racist people looking like pure fools to everyone.

Yep, just about sums up the current state of too many "conservatives" these days:

    • Sadly mean-spirited while hypocritically purporting "family values."
    • Full of rhetoric & gimmicks that lack substance for real issues.

No wonder many Americans have left the GOP, including me...
