RNC: Obama 'manipulating this tragic, national crisis'

Michael Steele, Chairman of the Republican National Committee issued the following statement after the president's Oval Office address Tuesday night:

“Manipulating this tragic, national crisis for selfish political gain not only demonstrates President Obama’s inability to aptly lead our nation out of a disaster, but also reveals the appallingly arrogant political calculus of this White House. Exploiting the tragedy in the Gulf to try to ram through a devastating job-killing national energy tax is more of the same Chicago-style politics that has the President’s approval ratings plummeting to an all-time low. Instead of leveraging this crisis to manufacture knee-jerk political support for cap-and-trade energy taxes, President Obama should focus on providing the people of the Gulf with real and honest solutions to this horrible environmental disaster that this Administration has been slow in waking up to.”

This president . Oh my God. Who elected this idiot. He will go down in history as the worst president ever elected in the greatest nation on earth.
Was it because he is a democrat. Probably. Was it because he is a good looking man, don't know. Was it because he is black, don't know. I honestly can't figure out why this man was elected.
He is so bad for this great country of ours and I truly fear the worst.
Dear God, deliver us from evil. The election of this president is the worst decision our great country has ever made.

Michael Steele is such an ignorant __, Didn't he listen to President Obama's speech? Did any of the Republicans listen to what the President said. He's working his butt off at not only with all current issues in this country but also trying to fix what Bush and all his Republican buddies did. What a mess they left behind. Boehner, why don't you just stop your bull and get to work. All you've done so far is complain, complain. Bunch of cry babies. Get to work instead of adding to the problem.

Republicans are whacko. They criticize, obstruct and say no instead of aiding, cooperating and partnering in a crisis. Like selfish kids. Shame on them in such a great country as ours!

The Republican Party is a disgusting manipulative power hungry criminal organization with the inability to lead our nation in any way whatsoever. This tragic, national crisis was brought about by ugly, stupid Republican policies and they should have to pay for it along with BP.

Republicans still has the sense of humor at this moment in time to speak nonsense. Michael Steel should be a daily guest on a comedy show :)

The government response time.. or agency under them, who ever that may be. Has done a terrible thing by letting this go this far they are enviromental terrorist they are-our government it is sad to say,I am not a conspiracy theorist, nor am i republican or democrat or claim to be anything else but an american patriot who believes in all our freedoms in this country representing every nationality in this world.we are a mixture of sorts. The race card thing is old .We need to just look each other in the eye and say we are americans. It no longer matters where we are from,We are here now.So putting all else aside-can we at least agree how obviously transparent our so called government-president is?.We are being set up for failure, cant we all see that. Can we not all see how obama dous not lead he dictates he tells us what we want and if we say no he forces it down our throat, like health care.well...well....well.... here we are talking about wells.obama did not want to drill right?oh my and lookwhat happened. If you cannot see the truth and how transparent this whole thing is we have no future.Stop big government!!!
