(CNN) – Bravo has released the list of "Real Housewives" for the Washington, D.C. installment of the franchise, and surprise, surprise: Michaele Salahi is indeed one of them.
Michaele crashed a White House state dinner with her husband Tareq last November, and the couple's media rep confirmed in March that they had landed roles on the Bravo reality show.
Bravo declined to comment at the time, but on Tuesday, the network sent out a statement revealing the new cast, and it turns out that Salahi will be among the five "real housewives."All of the women are supposed to have connections to “D.C. power players” as well as having “their pulse on the most important cultural events, political galas, gallery openings, and fundraisers in Washington society," according to Bravo's statement.
In the statement, Michaele is described as a “northern Virginia native and model” who founded America’s Polo Cup with her husband, who serves as the U.S. team captain. The Polo Cup is how Michaele is said to have met a variety of international political leaders.

The real question is why aren't they in jail?
I will spare myself the agony of these insufferable boors by not watching. When will TV producers learn that we have had more than our fill of these attention-starved societal parasites???.
If this doesn't make the ignorant masses understand how far from "reality" reality shows are, nothing will. And I'm guessing nothing will.
Here is a reality program really worth watching: These two goofballs in a Peruvian prison cell with Joran Van der Sloot...
It's funny that they call these shows 'The Real' housewives. Generally, they are spoiled rich women with annoying attitudes that gossip about each other behind each others back. If these are real housewives America is in a lot deeper doo doo than anyone thought up until now.
I'd think a show called 'Target practice, featuring the real housewives of Orange County'. Bait them with fondue, then release the hounds!!
Discovery used to have a good line up of channels and programming. It has all devolved into crap. It's pandering to the uneducated trash in the USA that don't have anything better to do than sit around, get fat, and wish their lives were "just like theirs". Then they would show all their p.o.s. friends who spiteful they can REALLY be.
We are such a stupid society – when people like this can so easily gain notoriety.

A terrific reason not to watch.
If I were going to watch this show, I surely won't now. Why does this kind of behavior get rewarded? Sad state of affairs that we see these types of folk every night on the news. People want the President to "scream" because they think his sensible demeanor means "weakness." We have not grown as a country as far as how people want others to behave. Something is wrong that people see these types as any kinds of role models.
Train wrecks sell, I guess.
Reality television has elevated "tacky" to an art form.
The nice thing about living in a free society is I can freely choose to block Bravo on my TV. Goodbye Bravo!

Mr.Salahi owns Oasis Winery in Virginia. They make some of the best champagne IN THE WORLD. Look at Wine Spectater and research their wines and champagne. It is not glamorous to be an incredible wine maker? I have been going their winery since 2000.

Why aren't these people in jail?
I used to watch BRAVO but the quality of it's programming seemed to be going south so I put them down and now these fools being added appear to justify my decision. They wouldn't speak after screwing up a State Dinner at the White House for which I think they should have gone to prison. I'm not interested now in making them thousands of dollars by watching their BS on BRAVO.
