(CNN) - American-born al Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn appears in a new video purportedly from the organization, calling President Barack Obama "snakelike" and saying he is "running the affairs of a declining and besieged empire."
In the video, posted Sunday on Islamist websites, Gadahn criticizes what he says is the United States' "aggression and interference" in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia, and also criticized moving his "captive brothers" from detention centers worldwide to "Muslim-only concentration camps in Illinois, Bagram (Air Base) and elsewhere - all in the name of protecting the American people from the threat of Muslim retaliation for American crimes."
He is apparently referring to a maximum-security prison in Thomson, Illinois, being considered by the government as a possible venue to house terror suspects.
CNN could not independently verify the authenticity of the 24-minute video, posted on websites known to carry such messages in the past and carrying the name of as-Sahab, al Qaeda's media arm. In it, Gadahn speaks in English; the video features Arabic subtitles.

didn't congressman King say that if Obama became president that all tht "Muslims would be dancing in the streets"? Well it appears that for a president that is supposed to be a Muslim himself you would think that Al Qadea would like him at least. Oh well another far right talking point going up in smoke.

Sure sounds to me like the GOP/Tea Party and Al Qadea have alot in common when it comes to their views of our President. Sounds like they are both rooting for him and the U.S. to fail......So I hope everyone keeps this in mind when voting this upcoming November.

I would think that if he really was that they would be more gentle with him and would not call him names. At least they don't think he is hitler or a nazi. There's the difference between the radical muslims and the teabaggers and right wing nuts.
Al Qaeda must be running out of top people if all they are doing now is cutting and pasting Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and Joe Wilson rhetoric into their own press releases. I am certain that Rush, Ann, and Joe are livid as they are unable to collect royalties for their stolen venom.
Hmmmm....Obama is being villified by BOTH Al Queda AND the GOP. He must be doing something right if the two most powerful sources of evil both agree that he's a horrible man.
