(CNN) - South Carolina state Rep. Nikki Haley leads Rep. Gresham Barrett in the Republican gubernatorial runoff, according to vote totals provided by the Associated Press.
With 29 percent of precincts reporting, Haley had 70,960 votes or 64.0 percent of the votes reported compared to Barrett's 39,868 votes or 36.0 percent.
I am not a republican, however, I am glad she will win tonight. I am tired of crooked politicians that will not run on the issues, but will do the Lee Atwater deception to try to win. I am glad it did not work. Let us get to the issues and move on to build this nation on solid principles and integrity.
Oh my! Are we surprised that the cheating spouse is winning? It IS SC after all. What else can we expect from these people down there.
Good luck to those who are not demented like dimwit!!
Barrett knew this was the high probability; he should have saved SC the expense of a run-off election. Congrats, Haley.
It just goes to show that the people of SC are easily fooled and less educated than most Americans!
Sounds like dirty politics as usual in S.C. Will those people never learn. They are so easily brain washed. Sad, sad, sad!
