Washington (CNN) - The Republican National Committee launched "Obama's Chicago Network" on Tuesday, a new web video designed to look like a NBC network summer lineup promotion.
The video is complete with the familiar-sounding television voiceover that touts four new "shows": "Dancing with the Law" (Dancing with the Stars), "The Colorado Hills" (The Hills), "I'm a Politician, Get Me Out of Here!" (I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!) and "Job or No Job" (Deal or No Deal).
"Obama's Chicago Network: it's not TV, it's reality," the ad concludes.
The video is hosted on a website with short summaries of each fake production and focuses on the Obama administration's ties to Illinois ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Pennsylvania Rep. Joe Sestak and Colorado Senate candidate Andrew Romanoff.
"When Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States, he promised to usher in a new era of unparalleled transparency and open government in Washington," RNC Chairman Michael Steele said in a statement. "Rather than putting a stop to 'business-as- usual', this White House has proved more than willing to employ disreputable, backroom, Chicago-style politics in order to further their own political goals."
"President Obama has not only fallen remarkably short of the high standards he has set for himself and his administration, but most egregiously, he has broken his word to the American people about bringing real change to Washington," Steele said.
A spokesperson for the Democratic National Committee was not immediately available for comment.

Remember third grade?
The RNC takes us back.
The Obama administration makes Nixon look like a boy scout. He will be remembered as the single worst president in our country's history.
Wake up people! Our only hope of saving our constitutional republic is November 2010. Throw all the Democrats out of office - Vote American, vote Republican!
What have the republicans done? If they ever get into power again we will have no middle class and the poverty level will double!
For God's sakes, Michael Steele, GROW UP. Once again all you can do is whine and point fingers and accuse and mock. You come across like a middle school twinkie going through hormone changes without adult supervision. You're confused and don't know what to do, so you act out.
Where are YOUR ideas and solutions? And if you don't have any, then please just shut up.
What a silly thing for the RNC to fund. Michael Steele has recognized that Obama has indeed set high standards for himself, and should follow suit.
If Obama can't stand the heat than he should get out of the kitchen!
How idiotic and moronic can Republicans be? The party of no ideas are traitors to this country.
And this is a not expected from the G.O.B.P. chairman?
One has to wonder if the members of the RNC ever take the time to look in the mirror?
What has the GOP done for our country? Just a party of hypocrites. Quick to point the finger, but not willing to lift a finger or take any responsibility for their own inactions.
Its not too hard to mock a man that NO ONE respects.
I am sure he still has some believers that are continuing to drink the proverbial kool aid, but most people see him as an empty suit.
He is driving the country into the dirt.
All of his bills in congress are bills to steal from the rich and give to the alledged poor. He is the true benelovent dictator.
The DEMS think that people are too ignorant to make their own decisions. People that are ignorant...like to have people make decisions for them. This is the reason the Democratic party continually goes after the bottom and keeps people down....
Where were these brilliant ideas when the Republican party had power?
Oh, wait, this is just as mindless and useless as everything they did do when they had power. My bad.
People in glass houses should not throw stones. The RNC is in a glass house and has no business being critical of anyone.
The oldest trick – portray the opponent negatively. We have nothing new to offer, we have no solutions, no answers. But the other guy is terrible. So get with us. Never mind that we might be well short of the standards we set for him, but don't look at us, just look at how bad he is. Terrific!!
can't wait to see it.........sounds right on the money!
Right...so let's go back to Big $ lobbyists literally running the Federal Government. Why not let the Secretary of State, President and VP all work directly on behalf of Big Oil or some other special interest group like we did for the previous 8 years. Now THAT's Republican politics at its best.
If I didn't know it was a bunch of old white guys I'd think the Republican Party was being run by children.
This should be good, someone has to call Obama out on all his lies and the Liberal media certainly won't. Too bad the media won't do their job and still continue to give Obama a free pass.
More GOP slime to divert attention from their abysmal record while Republicons held the White House, the Congress, and dominated the courts.
Under Bush/Cheney the GOP:
- DOUBLED the national debt
- Bush failed to veto a single spending bill
- ran spending deficits every year, handing Obama one of the biggest in history
- gave tax cuts to the rich
- removed consumer protections and deregulated banks leading to the current financial crisis
- got us into two wars, one based completely on fiction and intel failures
the list goes on....
that's why the GOP is so desperately trying to slime and block Obama at every turn.
One of the great differences between Republican and Democratic party officials is the level of respect for Presidents who belong to the other party. No one ever saw the Democratic National Committee putting up ads that mocked George Bush, or his father, or Ronald Reagan. They didn't even mock Richard Nixon at his worst.
And yet, the Republicans do it all the time.
No class; no dignity; no respect.
Sounds as if its closer to reality than a lot of people want to admit...
GOPers are the sleazest of the leazy... that's all one can say about them without sinking to their low mean spirited level.
Effective and accurate.
Time to grow up boys! Don't you have better things to do than mock a man who is doing a great job despite all the garbage you throw at him. If the DNC had done something like this for the Bush/Cheney horrible era-it would have been X-Rated!
The GOP'ers are a bunch of bafoons!!!! No solutions but plenty of untruthful remarks. I wouldn't vote for a republ is they were the last people on earth. They are sad!!!!
