HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! "bum rap"??!!! Don't you mean OBUMMA RAP?!

Obozo has shown that he and his merry band of Progressive Communists are complete INCOMPETENTS in handling a national emergency.

They has been slow to deploy needed measures and REFUSED help from abroad. Then make matters WORSE with a drilling moratorium to hurt even more people.

If anything he's gotten off too easy!

Oil isn't Obama's primary concern. He isn't running an oil business. He is managing the day to day concerns and policies of the US. That is far more important. This is just one of the many issues that he deals with every day.

Thank you former President Clinton-simple people act as if he was supposed to jump into the water and plug the leak with his body. If he had actually done that-they still would have complained. Damn if you do and damed if you don't.

I agree Bill, Obama is getting a bad rap. I don't want to see Obama yelling and crying over this leak. It's just not the way he is. I want a President who is cool, calm and collected and thats just who we have in Obama. I want to see this leak fixed...No yelling, no screaming, no crying. Just get it fixed.

Approaching 3 months and STILL LEAKING. Yet all the Republicans and their Big Oil sponsored Federal Judges just say...keep drilling anyway.

If something is broken, it needs to be fixed. If you can't fix it, then do something different. Is that simple enough for you folks that get your information from ClusterFox and word of mouth?

Bum rap, my foot... he ran for the office and won. So, he got the office, warts and all. This is a classic case of "be careful what you wish for."

What, Bill, do you want to blame George Bush for THIS, too?

BUM RAP?!?! Are you kidding me? If any Republican president handled a disaster like this in the same manner as Obama has done there would be talk of impeachment!! Obama has had opportunity after opportunity to mitigate this disaster and has not done so. His neglect has been either intentional (which would not surprise me) or his neglect has been due to downright incompetence. Either way he has failed miserably in his leadership role but, of course, that doesn't surprise the majority of the population. Obama has failed MISERABLY in EVERYTHING he has touched. It is difficult to find even ONE thing he has done that has helped defend this country or this economy. There is one happy face and that is Jimmy Carter because he knows he is no longer the WORSE president of the United States.

  11. Wisconsinite - the GObP Loves Big Oil, But Hates Suffering Americans

Very true President Clinton. Of course simple-minded people always think there are simple solutions to complex problems. Simple-minded people also have the memory span of a gnat so they forget that it was the previous administration who completely got into bed with BP which led to this catastrophe. Simple-minded people like Capt. Snarky and the idiot who likes to call President Obama a dictator.

Oil companies contributed a lot to our government for their campaigns. 66% to republicans - 33% to democrats. Follow the money.

If the oil companies had put that money into safety for their wells instead of safety for their illegal unsafe practices, none of this would have happened.

this oil crap is old safety regulation, gatekeepers been in the bed with the oil companies, it is like being on drugs, you don't try to quit until you hit the bottom, well this leak is America's bottom, maybe, as what happpened on wall street, the rules are antiquated, Barack Obama has been president only two years, so backoff

Capt. Snarky, he did'nt have sex with that woman and you did'nt either.
The President is doing a good job on the oil spill , I dont understand what people what him to do. He got 20 Billion from BP which would of taken 10 to 20 years to get. I know he is good but is not that good to stop the spill, and if he were that would'nt be good enough. HAHAHHA sounds like a lot of l Whip Cream what you wrote as in Bull Sh#t.

obama is doing everything possible to block the oil spill leak, the cleanup and protecting the people and the jobs of the people of the Gulf Coast.
And he claims to want to help the "little people".
All he is interested in is making the crisis as bad as possible so he can stop drilling ( and send the off shore drilling to work for his old friend Soros in South America) and promote his climate bill.

Thank you Bill Clinton. President Obama has done more than most Presidents have done in an entire term. He has tackled so much in a short period. He inherited a mess. It's time to give the man a break. Keep up the good work President Obama!

  18. A Not So Dumb American

I, nor other true Americans, can not put much credence in the criticisms of this President regarding this oil spill.

His opponents complain about big government, about government takeover of healthcare and about governement intervention to SAVE the US Car Industry [quite successful and PROFITABLE for the taxpayers, I might add].

Here is a case where big business got to run free, unchecked and they screwed it all up, fouling the beaches and our gulf of Mexico. Now, all of a suddent, these Presidential critics WANT BIG GOVERNMENT. They want the US Government to be IN THE OIL BUSINESS ... to duplicate or rather SURPASS the oil leak plugging capabilities of a for-profit, PRIVATE oil company. Sorry, you hipocrites ... you don't get tohave it both ways.

The more the rightwing, tea party, Republican loonie tunes attack this cerebral, honorable, competent President over such nonsense ... the more this independent thinking voter likes him.

FUNNY!! When 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina happened, President Bush had to take ALL the heat for them. He did not act fast enough, he did not care, etc... Well NOW the President has to deal with OTHER issues. WHATEVER... And as for Clinton, PLEASE, you chose to get BIN-jerk, and now you have comments??? Not to mention, you were unfaithful to your wife not to mention while being the President of my Country and in the White House.

    ----------------

Look, ignorant 3rd grader, If a giant oil company can't stop the leak, what the hell do expect our fine president to be able to do? It's not a measure of how fast or slow needed measures were deployed, the issue here is that the leak cannot be stopped by a company that specializes in oil drilling! You Hannity and Beck retards show you stunning stupidity every time you type in this blog. And as far as incompetent presidents during a TRUE national emergency is concerned, Bush tops the cake with brainless and careless stupidity the likes of which can only be topped by Dan Quayle.

If you had ANY intelligence at all Fox Noise moron, you would know that the drilling moratorium was to stop deep water drilling until we found out what caused the disaster of THIS deep water drilling rig so that this isn't repeated. You obviously have nothing between the ears but sh!t and therefore it comes out in your typing and undoubtedly when you talk about something of which you have no clue about.

Some people should not be allowed to talk.like the person that thinks Clinton lied to congress. He lied to ken Starr during a investigation into a land deal. It had nothing to do with a sexual relationship ken Starr was looking to score political points. Learn you history before you post

    Gitmo still open
    wars, troops dying
    10% unemployment
all the shady characters in his administration
    illegals in the country
all the pledges and broken promise
    oh yeah, 10% unemployment
    and finally
    10% unemployment

should bill be saying "its the economy stupid"

    bill = damaged goods

  25. Shucks

the republicans have been trying for almost 2 years now to find the sacred "Katrina" of this administration, and this is the only thing they can pull out of their magicians hats. Problem is that the deregulation that went on in the previous "kingdom" is the primary cause of this leak, and the reason it could happen over and over. All you need is a nice little earthquake in the Gulf, and we can kiss it goodbye for 100 years. So as much as the republicans would like to put the blame of this fiasco on anyone else they possibly can, Obama is the most likely candidate. Other countries require two wells at the same time in case of such an accident. Other countries regulate the oil companies and don't sleep with them. Other countries have left us far behind in their vision of the future, green energy, and leadership.
