Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama called interim Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski on Monday to congratulate him on his election victory, the White House announced.
Obama "said that the resilience and resolve demonstrated by the people of Poland in the face of their unprecedented tragedy remains an inspiration to the world," a White House statement said, referring to the April 10 plane crash that killed President Lech Kaczynski, his wife and more than 90 others on their way to a service commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Russian massacre of Polish prisoners of war.
According to the statement, Obama invited Komorowski to Washington and expressed appreciation for Poland's contributions to the war in Afghanistan.

It's a very polite and appropriate act for the President to congratulate the winner of another country's election.

Like American missles in Poland would not be a "yoke" (you must be really from Poland, huh, "bydlo"-expert?) Germany, Japan – everybody, are trying to get rid of American military bases becuase they realize foreign forces do NOT make them safer. But a bydlo-expert from Poland disagrees
