(CNN) – Jeff Greene, the billionaire real estate investor running for Senate in Florida as a Democrat, has lost his campaign manager.

Josh Morrow, who's been at the helm of Greene's campaign for two months, decided to step down from his post, Greene spokesman Luis Vizcaino confirmed to CNN.

"He did what he wanted to do to help Jeff win," Vizcaino said. "He helped put together the plan and we look forward to executing it."

Vizcaino said the decision was Morrow's and that it is unclear what he will do next. Morrow had previously worked for Tom Knox, another business tycoon who quit the Democratic race for Pennsylvania governor in January.

Jessica Vanden Berg, who served as Sen. Amy Klobuchar's campaign manager in 2006 and has recently advised General Wesley Clark and VoteVets.org will take over the top spot.

Greene faces Rep. Kendrick Meek in the August 24 primary. A recent Quinnipiac University poll showed the two in a virtual dead heat for the Democratic nomination.

We all can guess what his agenda will be if elected. Lots of assets to
make big bucks for him self–I do'nt think that will relate to the average
    voter.

The man lived with Heidi Fleiss, what does that tell you about him??? He's Wall Street. He's another Bernie Maddoff waiting to happen. I think he's a dirty as they come.
