Sarah Palin used Twitter to laugh off accidentally coining a new word, "refudiate." She joked that since Shakespeare coined new words, why shouldn't she? Word nerds and literary buffs didn't take kindly to Palin comparing herself to Shakespeare, and turned her quip into comedic gold.

Sarah Palin comparing herself to Shakespeare is like George Bush comparing himself to, well, any intelligent human being. why this woman's verbal diarrhea is news is beyond me. if the media gave her the attention she deserves, which is NONE, she would soon shut up and go away. she is of no consequence and needs to be treated as such.
500 years from now, we will still be enjoying reading and performing the works of the Bard of Avon. 500 years from now, if she is lucky, Sarah the Quitter will be consigned to a footnote in history. Remember, folks, she was not the first woman to be a major party VP candidate – that honor went to the articulate and knowledgable Geraldine Ferraro. She was not the first woman elected governor on her own – that honor went to Ella Grasso. She is not the first woman to start a political upheaval to enforce morality – that was Carrie Nation. Like I said, a footnote.
She didn't accidentally coin a new word, she genuinely thought that refudiation was real. When will CNN and other media outlets stop giving this not very smart woman a platform to shout from? She is a former half term governor of a very small state who couldn't find it in herself to finish the job she was elected to do. She was part of a Presidential ticket that was trounced in the 2008 election and every single political poll proves that she is tremendously unpopular amongst Americans, save for the hard core right.
Because Shakespeare was learned, and Palin is not?
Why do so many Republicans find such willful stupidity such a virtue? She's the reason McCain lost in such a landslide. Being deliberately clueless combined with making stuff up out of whole cloth is dishonest at best, and when it comes to governing, treasonous at worst.

Would CNN publicize gaffes by Joe Biden? Heck no. Everytime that idiot opens his mouth, it is a gaffe of the highest order. But they caught Palin, making an error so it becomes news on the political ticker. What Ticker should do is go back when Obozo said the health care mandate was not a tax and compare that with what his Justice Department is saying in trying to defend it. How about going back to Biden and Obozo comments on Iraq in trying to stop the surge and comparing that with what they are saying now. Then we could see the sheer hypocrisy, stupidity, corruption and ineptness of this union run administration.
