" Lawyers for ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich rested their case Wednesday without calling him to testify in his federal corruption trial..." for obvious reasons... Lotsa luck, there, chief.

Too bad we couldn't see the criminal Rahm Emmanuel take the stand. His fingerprints are all over this corruption case.

It will be a BIG MISTAKE to allow that 'motor-mouth' to testify!!! Case Closed!

    He's a loud-mouthed ego-driven nut case - the Palin of Illinois (with a Zipper).

Imagine that! The idiot that was flapping his yap all over national television
about how he will be vindicated finally decides to zip it! Too bad
his advisors didn't tell him to lay low and not make a fool of himself and
appear on The Apprentice? What an idiot. Who doesn't know how to use a laptop or have a PDA?

I'm sure this was the plan all along. It just goes along with his long history of shooting his mouth off before his brain is loaded! He's an attorney (although probably along the same caliber as he was a governor)...anyone whoever bought the lie his butt was ever gonna sit on that witness stand is living in la la land...like him. Once again he gives no one credit for having any sense but his delusional self. He was an embrrassment, he remains an embarrassment and will always be an embrrassment.

That's too bad. I'm sure his testimony would have been amusing at least.

So much for months and months of listening to Blagojevich yammer about how he can't wait for his chance to tell his story in court. What a joke this man is.

Darn... Would have made good news clips to illustrate just how dirty and corrupt Chicago politics is. As if watching Obozo bribe and strong arm wasn't enough to show us!

I think Gov Blago is despicable, and he was certainly a slimy piece of work as a Gov, but I haven't seen one piece of evidence that he actually did anything illegal. It looks to me like there is more evidence in the Sestak and Romanoff affairs that the White House broke the law than in the Blago case. After this trial is over every one of those tapes should be released so we can hear what really went on!!!!

Too bad, I would have loved hearing him explain himself! They just couldn't control him, he would have had to answer hard truths.
