Washington (CNN) - Classified military documents posted by WikiLeaks contained no major new revelations, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday.
"In terms of broad revelations, there aren't any that we see in these documents," Gibbs said.
However, Gibbs said the public posting of names of military personnel and their sources, as well as details of operations, could do harm.

Leaks have consequences. The largest problem facing our country today is the "gotcha" factor in media and with reality TV. 24/7 coverage of everything means they must look for anythign they can find without ever stopping to think of ramifications.
The thief of the information and the papers and news netowrks that ran it should be porsecuted whether their is truly classified informaiton included or not.
Whoever hacked into those files should be tried for treason and executed. Enough is enough. When are we going to show some guts in this country. Take em out and hang like the traitors they are including wiki waki leaki or whoever they are.

- The safe havens in Pakistan for the Taliban are known to the pakistani government and insurgents freely cross the border into Afghan to conduct raids and then go back to their Pakistani safe havens?
- The Taliban now have heat seeking missles????
- Osama Bin Laden is actively managing the war from Pakistan???
Most Americans thought the Afghan government was corrupt but we learn now that they are corrput to the core and actually hinder our military efforts and possible endanger our troops.
But most of all, what I have learned is that this war can never be won and the government in place is not worth protecting. I used to think that Afghan was like our lost cause in Vietnam, but afghan is actually a whole lot worse than Vietnam ever was and we are wasting american lives and money needlesslay.
It is time to get out of Afghanistan

The guy at WikiLeaks should be tried for treason. This kind of act is not protected by the second amendment. In an earlier day, he would have been hung for what he did.
