Washington (CNN) - With less than 100 days until November's midterm elections, it appears that President Barack Obama is picking up the pace when it comes to helping out his party with fundraising.
This week the president is headlining four fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee. Wednesday, after giving a speech on the economy in New Jersey and after taping an interview with ABC's "The View" in New York City, Obama is the main attraction at two Manhattan fundraisers - one at the Four Seasons Hotel and one at a private residence. A source with knowledge tells CNN that the private residence belongs to Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
Guests attending the Wednesday night events are asked to give the legal maximum contribution of $30,400 per election cycle, according to a Democratic source.
Tuesday night the president headlined a DNC fundraiser in the nation's capitol, and with another DNC event in Washington D.C. scheduled for Thursday night. Next month Obama continues the fundraising push with events for the party in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Austin, Texas.
Democrats need millions of dollars to defend their majorities in the House and Senate this November, and they hope the president can continue to bring in the big bucks.
As of the end of June, the DNC had nearly $11 million cash on hand, with nearly $3.9 million debt. Their GOP counterpart, the Republican National Committee, reported $10.9 million in the bank, with just over $2 million in debt.

He can raise money for democrats but he cannot congradulate the Boy Scouts on their 100 years of service to develope good citizens for America. I think the over 100 million former scouts and their families should thank the President in 2012 by not voting for him or his party.

If every Republican would or could feel the pain that the american people are going through with no money to pay bills then they would stop the messy deals that they face in making this country go bankrupt. All Presidents have done this, so this is nothing new. I don't think he is a good leader but the people who object to the President and his policies need to stick to what is important which is-
1. High unemployment
2. Government take over of our civil rights
3. Two wars that he promised we would be out of
4. Health care debacle
If you want to stop him you need to vote the representatives and senators who support him out of office. Without the support and votes he will become a lame duck President.

You have a Democrat Party that took control in Congress and initiated policies that killed the private sector throwing our economy into a tailspin. Then the Community Organizer is elected (that has never worked one day in his ENTIRE life at a REAL job in the private market) initiates policies that FURTHER destroy this country.
Now we have unemployment near 10% (with no sign of improvement), our houses have dropped in value 50%, we have added over 3 TRILLION DOLLARS (that's right, with a "T") to our national debt with no slowing down, as well as EVERY possible law that could negatively affect the private business sector (health care, financial reform, largest tax increase in U.S. history when they let the Bush Tax Cuts expire, etc.). Businesses have already made it clear that they have no intentions of hiring right now until they know HOW MUCH MORE their taxes are going up. End result is no more hiring to take place. Finally, we have cities going bankrupt (and our country right behind them) because they have NEVER LEARNED THAT YOU CAN'T SPEND MORE THAN YOU BRING IN!!!
This administration is the definition of failure and if we don't stop them in November you will not even recognize your country in 5 years (if there is even a country left).

Obama can fundraise but he cannot do his Constitutional Duty of upholding the laws of the USA including the immigration laws.
The fact is that both parties have failed this country. Our politicians are self-serving morons. But given that America has stopped valuing education, intelligence, and intellectualism, can it be any wonder. My solution: Let's start electing scientists and mathematicians to public office. These are the people who are trained to solve problems, have a mastery of methodology, and are capable of understanding what numbers mean.
At a time when the economy is floundering, when immigration is a monster topic, when Democrat scandals are everywhere, Obama finds himself campaigning more? Did we elect the "Commander in Chief" or the "Campaigner in Chief"?
