Chelsea Clinton's late night wedding munchies

Chelsea Clinton married Marc Mezvinsky on Saturday.
Chelsea Clinton married Marc Mezvinsky on Saturday.

(CNN) – The wedding reception revelry for Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky stretched well into the early hours of Sunday morning with guests offered a 2 A.M. snack of grilled cheese sandwiches, brownies and popcorn for the ride home, according to an invited guest.

The source says the former President Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a welcoming address to the attendees. And the dinner reception included a choice of beef or arctic char (fish), risotto and salad.

The former first daughter and her longtime beau married in a much discussed but highly secretive wedding in Rhinebeck, N.Y. on Saturday.

Alright I say it! Most of America wishes them well and most of America hopes they are left alone to enjoy their new lives together!

Thank God President Clinton spent millions on this wedding....it does more to stimulate the economy than ANY of Obama's programs put together. Trickle-down economics works...... taxing us to death does not.

Just more excess for rich folk. Hard to imagine (at least for the Clintons and their associates) that people are actually struggling these days.

What a beautiful couple. They both deserve happiness and hopefully one day Chelsea will run for President! I still remember the hateful and hurtful comments Rush Limbaugh made about Chelsea when she was little. I hope he eats his words now.

If the Clintons care about this country so much and it's people – instead of spending $3mm on a wedding, they could have done a lot to help people in need – homeless shelters, food banks, etc.. Even if Chelsea wasn't so selfish, she could have donated her wedding money to charity and had a nice, small wedding. Oh but she just had to have a designer $100,000 dress, over $200K on flowers, and other BS. I don't care if she's their only child and if they think they are some kind of royalty (they aren't) it's not right to flaunt this kind of money when people are starving and losing thier jobs, homes, cars, unemployment benefits, losing their families and receiving NO HELP from the government who helps big business.

    SELFISH is what I say

Congratulations to the Clinton family – but what about all the jobless families in America who wish they had access to such food as seen at this million dollar wedding.
Republicans have blocked unemployment benefits 9 times and left the jobless to go hungry and unable to pay basic survival needs.
Republicans voted against healthcare funding for sick and dying 9/11 heroes whose lungs are destroyed from all the toxic dust they breathed in. Why? Because they claimed to want to use a different procedure for the vote! How unpatriotic and heartless can you be?
Republicans are against the JOBs bill because they want to intemtionally keep the growing economy from doing even better for political games. They won't approve credit for small businesses who are stable and want to expand and hire more workers.
They are downright unAmerican and traitors to We the People.

What do they support? Unfunded and deficit-increasing 700B in renewing the Bush tax cuts for the top 1% of the wealthiest Americans. Those sad rich people are just suffering and the Republicans are running to protect them. Republicans are also fighting to limit the liability and the amount of damages BP must pay to clean up the Gulf and "make the people whole" as BP once lied in their promise to the devastated and ruined lives of the Gulf residents.

Republicans do NOT want immigration reform. They want their business business to have access to cheap slave labor and to keep cheating the govt out of employer taxes for these workers. John McCain, Senator from AZ no less, WROTE an amnesty immigration bill back in 2007 but is now running and hiding from it. He is a total disgrace and needs to be removed from office.

Never trust a Republican until you research the real truth. They will lie about anything if they think it will benefit them for one second. They are NOT "country first" and are America haters. NO Republicans in NOvember. We need to keep moving forward, not backwards to destruction and a Depression with the GOBPers.

At first, I was upset to find out the president and first lady were not invited. I thought how petty and spiteful – but then I realized Obama, Michelle, Bill and Hillary all probably agreed the show would be stolen away from their daughter thereby leaving Hillary upset. If this was indeed the case I would say that was a wise decision on all their parts.

Having said that – I wonder how much it cost Bill to pawn off his (Leah) daughter?
