(CNN) - Republicans are predicting big wins in the November midterms. Across the aisle, Democrats are saying the same thing about their chances at the polls. But both can't be right.

Republicans speculate that they will take back the House - and possibly the Senate - as voters express their frustration at where Democrats and President Obama are taking the country.

"I think it's pretty clear that the American people are tired of the job-killing agenda in Washington, D.C. They want the spending spree to stop," House Minority Leader John Boehner said on "Fox News Sunday."

"I think we're having a good year, but we've got a lot of work to do before the Election Day on November 2," he said.

Democrats will not only keep the House but gain seats. Once the People start paying attention to what the traitor Republicans plan to do to destroy our nation again, no sane person will vote for a do-nothing America-hating Republican.
If you vote for a Republican – from Boehner's own mouth – you will get a return to the failed Bush polcies since the GOP has not one new idea,. You will get repeals of healthcare, regulations of the banks and when they fail again, Boehner thinks the taxpayers should bail them out. You will get repeal of equal pay for women. Republicans also want to eliminate Social Security, Medicare, and even programs like free lunch for poor children who this is usually their only meal of the day, kill education loans for college-bound kids, let banks resume foreclosures on homes, stop ALL lending to small businesses where most new jobs are created, and will stop unemployment payments to the jobless who the Republicans put out of work by letting their corporate buddies send our jobs overseas with no consequences
    .
Sen Graham (SC) said yesterday we need to send more soldiers to Afghanistan with no withdrawal dates. Of course these Republicans so fakely concerned about the deficit would spend billions more on war rather than on the recovery of the America they destroyed.

They will renew the 700B (non-funded, add to the deficit) tax cuts for the top 1% of the wealthies Americans but will not spend a dime to create jobs or save the middle class. Republicans call us "the lesser people". Taxes will be raised on the middle class elminating the Obama tax cuts for the middle class.

This is just the beginning of ther destructive plans, Not one new idea, Not one positive action for the PEOPLE. No leadership to be found. Extremist tea baggers running the Party with racism, violence (the FBI arrested 3 tea baggers for making the death threats on Democratic leaders this Spring) and nutjob views on our govt. These idiots don't even know that Social Security is a "socialist" program and scream to keep the govt away from their govt benefits! They are duped fools of the Republicans who will find out Republicans are really against everything the baggers say they want.

Never trust a Republican. As we have seen, they are not beneath making up a totally false story against a good, decent, black woman who has helped farmers of all races save their farms. They are slanderers, liars, and will do ANYTHING for power. As RNC Chair Steele said "All Republicans care about is winning"/ Oh how true. Can you name ONE thing Republican has done to help YOU this year???

Stay with the Democrats. They will keep delivering solid solutions to keep America moving forward to a much better future.

It nice to see that they agree on something. It would be better if they could agree on legislation to help small businesses expand as well as providing regulatory agencies enough money and manpower to do their jobs.

"Job killing". Can these drones speak a complete sentence without using that phrase. Same mentality as, "Two legs bad, four legs good".

  6. Take America Back

Every time either Party makes some sort of futuristic projection on the November elections, there is a great deal of spin placed on the economy. But I believe the very important and very real issue which "trumps" all these other things and causes even the economy to pale in comparison, is the issue of "the Greatness (or as the Progressives say....the lack of greatness) of America!
I stand amazed when I turn on a light switch, discovered and manufactured by Americans!, as well as 1000's of other great and useful things. The Freedom of France, Great Britan, Italy, Poland, and on and on......brought about with Blood and Treasury from Americans! We live in the greatest nation on earth and yet Obambi and his cronies along with most (so-called) progressive Democrats, constantly demean and lambast our greatness!
Mr Obambi, Ms Pelosi, Mr Rangle, Al Sharpton, Jessee Jackson, Harry Reid, VP Bite-Me, Rham Emanuel, Axelrod......and hundreds of you George Soros clones......if you are so ashamed of and so despise this great nation......why don't you leave and go wherever you think they are doing things right?....(possibly South America). But please stop trying to change Her.....leave Her alone.....your type of "progression" we do not want or need! We want the "Real Thing" .....which is what made Ameria great. You Progressives need to take a lesson from Coca Cola.....when they introduced the "New Coke" .....it did not sell, no one wanted the "change" so Coke went back to the "Original" and everyone drank happily away........America wants "the Real Thing" not the "new, progressive way"!

They both could be right. After the dust clears, the entire process could add up to a wash in regards to seats lost and seats gained. The voters may be angry with the Democrats, but the can't possibly forget that we are in this mess because of Republican policies, policies that the Republicans want to implement again. Tax breaks for the rich did not help us before, and it probably won't help now either. These companies are sitting on enormous piles of cash that they won't spend to create jobs because the bankers, Republicans' favorite constituents, have shut down credit to these businesses.

Bohner as the majority leader? Be careful what you wish for. Guaranteed to go back to Wall Street and Big Oil gone wild all over again. Why do the Republicans always seem to be in charge when the economy gets wrecked? Great Depression, early 90's S & L collapse and recession, 2008 Great Recession...what else do you righties want to break?

The American people have awakened from their "Hope and Change" coma - they realize Obama and the Democrats are trying to turn our country into a Socialist nightmare.

So in November, we're all voting American, we're voting Republican.

I do not understand how anyone- except for the very wealthy, can consider voting for any Republican. The party of no just voted against healthcare for 9/11 heroes. They voted against loans for small business that would have created jobs. They voted against extending unemployment compensation for unemployed Americans. These are just a few instances of numerous votes against the people. They say that they don't want to add to the deficit- baloney. They want to extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy that are responsible for a large part of the deficit and will add more to the deficit than any program that they are voting against- and will do nothing for our economy or for job creation. The Republican party consistently votes for big money and votes against the majority of people – how do people forget that?

The RepubliKlans are so sure of their success, they had to cancel Breitbart's invitation to their get-together.

RepubliKlans want to create the Fourth Reich. The American people need to stop these facists and their plans to tear up the U.S. Constitution.

Republicans lie! They don't believe the things they say themselves. This is all in an effort to drum up things and give people a fake sense of hope. While it is true they will win some seats – the majority will STAY with the democrats.

Obama's worst nightmare is the most likely scenario – to have the Dems retain control of both houses by much slimmer margins than they currently hold. Then he can't lay off the blame for his massive mistakes for the 2012 election. Clinton was given that opportunity in 1994 and it saved his Presidency. Obama knows this – though he obviously won't say it – even if Gibbs hinted at it a few weeks ago.

    We can only hope.

I'm not sure how the election will turn out, but I won't be voting for the party that screwed up the economy (Clinton, Dodd, Frank), gave us the failures of Cash for Clunkers and the 'stimulus', took over the car industry (private business), forced through bad bills like Obamacare and fake 'financial reform' and continue to thumb their noses and average Americans.

Democrats have turned out to be more corrupt and less competent. Vote against stupidity.

If Democrats want to run on the GOP killing jobs in the last 18 months despite their majorities in the house and the senate Im all for it. I have to believe that the majority of the population isnt that stupid. Sticking to blame Bush is probably the best strategy because using his name makes their base not care about their pathetic performance since taking control.
