Less a stunt than stupid, attention-seeking people being stupid. It's a white trash train wreck writ large because of someone's infamy. Hopefully, these people will expire their 15 minutes of fame because they aren't actually doing anything important.

wow there is an apple that didn't fall from the tree PUBLICITY PUBLICITY PUBLICITY Someone refered to them as the "Wasilla Hillbillies" and everyday reinforces that nickname I just cannot imagine this family taking over the White House. If the voting public doesn't wake up to the lies and propoganda that her mother and her followers are spreading, that is exactly what is going to happen. What is left of our Constitution after they Bush/Cheney reign, will disappear.I know our enemies abroad are hoping and praying that will happen. I guess these two youngsters want a reality TV show and as totally ridiculous as reality shows are now(cant believe people still watch The Batchelor or Bachelorette)they would fit right in and the mindless people who support her mother will follow it faithfully.

  3. Tied of a Nothing Story

This is not political news. These folks do not deserve any coverage, What have they done to deserve it? It makes the media look disperate for a story. I'm tied of hearing about the modern Beverly Hillbillies. It's dragging down our country

If it makes a Palin M-O-N-E-Y as Ms Sarah is proving, they will do anything and I mean anything. Why do you think dim bulb resigned as governor of Alaska. She made a mess of it, put the state in overwhelming debt handed off to the next person and moved on to rake in the cash...gee isn't that what republicans do. After all Bush did the same thing. Fact is he is still bleeding the country dry with the tax cuts he gave to the 2 % of the country. Yep if it makes money you'll have to fight a Palin out of the way.

Guess this won't make the posts either. A negative against the dipbutt Palin never does.

I said it at the begining it was nothing but a Publicity Stunt for Sara Palin.

Of course it is. This family is the poltical equivalent of Heidi and Spencer. I am sure everytime Mama Grizzley thinks she is becoming irrelevant, she thinks of ways to get back in the spot light. Ignorance at its finest.

A stunt or not. Why does CNN keep writing articles about trivial matters? These two young people will not effect my life. On the other hand the sow mother Grizzly could have a effect if she should ever be elected to any position. May God have mercy if that was to happen.

One of the things Sarah Palin said when she resigned as governor was to leave the kids of the incoming governor alone. I find it interesting that I have not seen a single story about his kids, but Palin’s are still in the news. This family needs to just get a reality show and be done with it. Then we can officially move the whole Palin clan to the entertainment section.

why is this on the political ticker–and why are conservative children of politicians targeted and not liberal children? CNN has changed and gotten so liberal with the likes of elitist Anderson Cooper and others that I stopped watching–please try to have a small modicum of fairness...

At the beginning I was a bit annoyed to see CNN is bringing the Palins each day which goes by. Now I get it very well. Keep bringing them everyday until we pass 2012. Bravo, very wise of you!

Everything the Palins do is a publicity stunt. The half term gov., forced out by scandel has little else to keep her in the spotlight. Now baby Palin's in the act. Remember, if you want your kids left alone, don't put them in the lime light.

"Palin, Johnston split a publicity stunt?"

    Dear CNN,

What was your first clue? You guys are really on the ball!

Bristol Palin can't marry or get a real job, then she wouldn't be America's conservative darling and the ideal for all American youth: an illiterate, unemployed high school drop-out and unwed teen mother.

YEP – and the money they are 'raking' in is TREMENDOUS!!! The MEDIA needs to learn 'NOT' to print the story first just so they can say "you heard it here first". Journalist need to do REAL journalism and get to the bottom of the story and make sure it’s authentic!!! (Remember Sherrod???)

The apple does not fall far from the tree and Bristol is a 'spitting image' of her mother – SARAH – who is also using the media with her 'publicity stunts'!!! CNN and others are the real LOSERS for following them around and allowing them to GET OVER with their LIES!! They DO NOT offer anything to better our nation but yet they’re in the news EVERY DAY!!!

Who knows? As soon as someone gets some kind of celebrity status, then the money starts rolling in, and they start manipulating everything to cash in.

The greed of humans is so pathetic.

NOTHING would surprise me when it comes to Mama Grizzlie's brood.

Why is this not filed under "entertainment"???

There is nothing "political" about it. WTF do Bristol and Levy have to do with ANYTHING political???

Thank you, John McInsane, for unleashing this most dysfunctional pall on America.............

Of course it's a publicity stunt! When is the mainstream public going to recognize this family for what it is? How many times do they "create" stories about themselves all for more appearances on prime time television and high profile magazines - they are laughing their a–es off all the way to the bank!! Wake up people!!

Is putting this non-story in with political stories a publicity stunt by CNN?

There are thousands of U.S. teenagers cuter, smarter and working hard at a good education. But the news focuses on these 2 losers, wonder why? They are disgusting and show their lack of class, Typical of a Palin upbringing, tacky and trashy.

WHO CARES? I'm sick and tired of reading about these morons. Their life is like a stupid soap opera. Their aim is to get all the publicity that they can, be it positive or negative. It's good for their bottom line, and that's what this is all about.

Everything the Palin's do is for publicity. You haven't realized that yet? Then you are as dumb as Sarah Palin. The Media latches onto her every action and then covers it forever. Had they dropped her after McCain lost the election, this idiot would have fallen by the wayside. So she can thank the Media for making her the millionaire she is today. I wonder what ever happened to her grown son. We never hear one word bout him. And the trip to China. We never see pictures of her in China or hear anything about the trip. Did it really happen? I don't think she was ever there. She is such a liar. I think she and the Media make alot of this stuff up. What do you think?

While this can be considered newsworthy, in the same manner as Lohan's criminal activities, why does CNN consider this a political issue?

CNN does a good job of separating the different news stories into individual web pages. Should this story not be on the "living" or "entertainment" pages and not on the political pages?

It absolutely staggers the mind to realize how this Palin freakshow has made it as far as it has with their relentless hunger for publicity.

The Palins have become a cancer, a virus, that has taken hold within the body of culture and it replicates itself constantly...mutating into whatever it must do to keep itself thriving in front of the cameras.

In this day and age of profound partisanship, you would think there is at least something, ONE THING the majority of Americans could agree on...That Sarah Palin and her family are an utterly ridiculous spectacle and that their debut in the spotlight was over long ago.

When Palin gets nominated for the republican ticket, and make no mistake she will get nominated, and should she actually make it into the white house, she is going to turn the office of the Presidency and the White House into nothing more then a reality TV show before our very eyes. Mark my words.....what she is bringing is nothing but a 3 ring circus starring a family of freaks.
