Palin says Obama 'in flux', suggests he wasn't properly vetted

'I think he's in over his head,' former governor Palin said of the president.
'I think he's in over his head,' former governor Palin said of the president.

(CNN) – Former Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin is not letting up in her constant drumbeat of criticism directed about President Obama.

After saying Sunday that Arizona's female Republican governor has more "cojones" than Obama when it comes to immigration and border security, Palin suggested Wednesday night that the 44th president is still trying to figure out his governing philosophy.

Later: Palin an 'expert' in not being vetted, DNC says

Asked about a narrative – which is a persistent theme particularly in Republican and conservative circles – that Obama is too weak when it comes to issues like national security and immigration, Palin shared her insights on Fox News Channel about why she believes Obama is not doing more to secure the borders.

"I think he's quite complacent," the former Alaska governor said. "And I think he's in over his head. And I think he has poor advisers around him. And I think he's really in flux kind of when it comes to what his governing philosophy actually is. Some of this though is a result of he not having much experience and then a complicit media and maybe some voters who chose to not to allow him to be vetted very closely.

"It's a combination of things that's resulting in a president who's not taking a strong stand on those things that are the will of the people. Obviously, the will of the people is to enforce the laws that we have on the books."

During the interview, Palin also defended her recent use of "cojones," a Spanish term for male reproductive organs that can also be used as slang for "nerve" or "boldness."

In the context of enforcing the country's immigration laws, Palin said Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer's "doing the right thing and our president lacks the guts to do anything about it."

And Palin took the opportunity to highlight a political setback for one of Obama's signature legislative accomplishments since taking office.

In a primary earlier this week, Missouri voters dealt a blow to the heart of Democrats' health care bill. More than 70 percent of Missouri primary voters Tuesday cast ballots in favor of Proposition C. The measure would allow state residents to opt out of mandatory health insurance, a key part of the new health care law, which was pushed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. The proposition prohibits the federal government from requiring that individuals have health insurance or penalizing people for not having such insurance.

Pointing to the successful ballot measure, Palin said Missouri voters had shown Obama how they felt about health care reform signed into law earlier this year.

"The Show Me State showed Obamacare the door yesterday," said Palin.

–CNN Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser contributed to this report.

Yes, it was quite unfair to ask Palin what magazines she reads. But for fairness sakes, I'm sure Obama would have stumbled on that one too. [/sarcasm]

Is she serious. There are people out there who believes and listens to her rhetoric. I am absolutely confused...John McCain considered putting this boobie into the Vic President seat. This is the same person who did not know that Mexico bordered the United States. I think she is influx. Stop pretending you know something when you know absolutely little. Btw, because you are endorsing Karen Handel in Georgia, she has lost my vote...my vote is for Nathan Deal.

I vaguely remember Nazis using the phrase "will of the people" or something similar in a lot of their propaganda. Just sayin.

The text below is part of Sarah P's tirade on Fox last night, against, you guessed it – OBAMA!!!. I think I get the message she is trying to convey. After all she only has one message. But what bothers me most is her continued butchering of the English language. A language that Shakespeare used so eloquently. In comparison, her PALINGLISH is just atrocious. She is no Shakespeare. Yet we will allow her to stand for the highest office in the land in 2012, if she chooses. Clearly the right has no better candidate than this so call “mama bear”. Is it any wonder why the rest of the world mocks us. Where is our AMERICAN dignity and pride? I rest my case.

You Go, Mrs, Palin...for what you state is completely TRUE.
obama is so unqualified and LAZY, plus the fact that obama cannot
make a decision, nor does he know how to lead.
    obama has NO Management Experience.
Community Organizing just doesn't lay the groundwork for Senator OR president.
All obama has done is vacation, entertain, and live up the 'perks of the office' since he was elected.

How did Americans make such a total Mistake????
Americans were fed "Packaged Lies, Lies, Lies" about obama.
obama, as we now know, is a Total Fraud and should NOT be in the White House.
    obama was Never Presidential Material.
Americans were lied to and swallowed all the obama hype.
The Media fed the world and was paid royally to do so, and therefore, obama was not vetted and people were baited, hook, line, and sinker.

Does anyone in this Nation realize that obama was Not Qualified
to be a Full Professor at University of Chicago? This fact was published, along with his inadequate resume of Non-Work-Employment. obama became a 'visiting lecturer' through a contact on the Board as a 'favor.' The article further stated that obama was never considered for professorship; he was not qualified.

Who do we believe at this point?
Quite obviously, obama is a radical liberal and his ideas of 'hope and change' were All About Socialism.
This Great Nation doesn't need obama's 'Hope and Change.'
Americans Love This Great Land and Her Freedom and Constitution.
    Americans Don't Want obama's change.
    Americans don't want a dictatorship.
Americans now see that obama has been on a path to Destroy America.

I will start to take her criticisms seriously when she can articulate a position in competent English. Until then, I suggest that she take a remedial English grammar class.

Palin would be out of her depth standing in a puddle. For this hillbilly Barbie to suggest that Obama wasn't 'properly vetted' is the very definition of ironic.

    HAHA!!! Please–like she's better qualified!
What would you do differently, Sarah? Now, don't knee-jerk. Take into account all the stipulations, the constraints, the competing pressures and issues that are also being jockeyed as "the most important thing the President needs to handle now!" , the competing interests between states rights and federalism, between migrant workers being the only people who will take the abysmal pay for these jobs and the desire for greater productivity versus illegal immigration, and the consequences.
If your tiny brain doesn't implode, tell me, what would you do?

I have pretty much had it with CNN and this stupid Be-tch!! How in god's name would she even have a clue as to what being over a presidents head??? She herself had to stop governing alaska. A quitter by expereince yet she knows all about this. You know I hope everyone that Fox socalled news and CNN want in Novemeber a conservative landslide and people like Palin and the tea baggers can all rejoice when they completely wreck the whole country. Even as much as I disliked Bush i never thought of ever saying he was in over his head? And by the way it was Ronnie Raygunz who gave us the first illegal amnesty. and Bush gave us Tarp. What Obamma has had to deal with is one ell of a lot with no help, no ideas just the old failures, and roadblocking every step of the way. No transparnecy? Ya right, we just never knew what used to go on in government and sometimes I wonder if we need to know all this stuff. And then quote peole who chant nigger and porch jockey but who are not bigots ?? Give it a break CNN?FOX You really blow!

This is clearly a case of the prom queen calling the class valedictorian a dum-dum. This woman's utterly laughable combination of stone-cold ignorance and unflinching arrogance makes me flush with anger every time she opens gaping maw. She is clearly too stupid to understand how stupid she is. I know, calling her and the people who adore her idiots is like calling the sun hot and has been done to death by everyone with an I.Q. over 80. And yes, calling them all racists is painting with too wide a brush (though it's impossible to deny that this idiot brigade has without a doubt welcomed the racists into their fold because they're voters too!) So there must be something else to sum up just what this group is. The blissfully ignorant? The soft-brained? The easily confused? The semi-literate?

Sarah Palin is outspoken, she just doesn't have anything valuable to say. She's like ads on TV, always louder, telling you stuff you should ignore. Hemorrhoidss, maybe you have hemorrhoids! That's Sarah Palin, selling hemorrhoid cream.

My nine year old daughter is able to coherently put together thoughts, why is Palin, whom wants to be President, unable to say one sentence that does not sound as if she is still in first grade grammar class? She might be intelligent, but she is one of the worst speakers I have heard in ages.

Everyone that goes on about Palin being a quitter shows their ignorance. She had to quit because of all of the frivilous lawsuits that were being brought against her by the lefties that are scared to death of her. She quit for the good of her State. Also, do you know Obama quit the Senate to campaign for President for 2 years WHAT A QUITTER!! I guarantee if Palin were President this country would be in a much better place right now. Why? Because she loves her country and Obama hates it. Get it yet?

To the fellow who said that Barack "hasn't created any jobs...and that he is an idiot.".. Do you actually have any idea what's happening in the US economy? We were losing 800,000 jobs a month when he came to office– now we are creating them (albeit too slowly.) Companies are growing, we saved the auto industry, the GDP is firming (although not rapidly enough), Corps are starting to hire again, the housing market has stabilized, the unemployed are surviving due to Gov't extensions. Yes taxes will be raised on those of us making over 250k a year–So what? The stock market is feeling very bid again–why ? Because of market confidence– the US is a flight to quality once again, friends.

Whether you agree with his philosophy or not you need to realize that the current administration has done a REALLY effective job of stopping the bleeding in our economy. Yes, we printed some money and the deficits are growing–nothing that can't be dealt with ( read your history on the depression).

Had Palin and McCain been in office I assure you that the results would have been quite different. And not for the better. Yes I would have made a lot money–because if you have cash on hand in a meltdown you can scoop up assetts at rock bottom prices while picking through the carnage. But it's not always about the few making all the money. Sometimes it's about giving everyone a chance to survive and lead a decent life.

Please–if you're just a knee jerk racist republican whose reading list is limited to 'Mein Kamp" you might want to check out something different ( and then you'll say " No BHO is a Nazi" and we'll all laugh at you again–because you only make simple statements). You have no understanding of the world and no understanding of America–where it evolved from- how it came to fruition and how it has succeeded.

You're like Palin– no idea of what's really happening–just a tunnel visioned and myopic miscreant. Good Luck. And hopefully Good bye soon! Goodbye Beck, Rush, Coulter...you should all spend your lives on an island together spouting your vitriol and tasteless point of view.

I do not hate Sarah Palin. I acknowledge that many people who criticize her use inappropriate language to do so. But to criticize someone is not the same as hating. So here is my criticism: she speaks in shallow platitudes and has no real depth. I was stationed in Alaska while she was governor. She had one actual legislative accomplishment, and then she quit her office. Further, at least one of the ethical complaints against her was valid: she did, in fact, attempt to use her office to remove her former brother-in-law from the State Patrol. The facts speak for themselves on that one: he had already been disciplined, and she and her husband used the Governor's office to pressure the Public Safety director, who later quit.

She says the president has bad advisers. Of course, that is a matter of opinion, and I suppose that can be said about some of the advisers to almost any president one wishes to name. However, as a retired military officer, I wonder how Sarah Palin can question the service of people like General James Jones (Natl Security Adviser) and General Eric Shinseki (Secretary of Veterans Affairs).

Finally, as to whether the media has mistreated Sarah Palin, I say this. The job of the press is to question politicians. If one views the media in aggregate, it is clear President Obama receives his share of negative press. Thinking back to the campaign, I have to say that Sarah Palin did not need Katie Couric to make her (Ms Palin) appear incompetent, Sarah did that all by herself.

As a Patriotic American who served 26 years as a military officer, I resent the implication that unless I believe in Sarah Palin's brand of patriotism (that is, using the flag as a fashion prop) I am not a true American. Hogwash.
