Like Woody Allen said, "Those who can't do, teach" Go back to teaching Ms. Romer.

This is a good start. She didn't have a clue and it cost American taxpayers $$ trillions to prove it. That was one amazingly expensive experiment but maybe she can go back to UC and teach kids about what doesn't work.

Now if we could just get our president to resign, we'd be off to a good start.

If she believes that the Boss' policy would work, she would certainly hang around to enjoy the result and reward, being so high up in that department.
    What does that tell you?

I felt sure sooner or later, the lady would come to her senses. She had in the past been a well respected economist that felt it necessary to be truthful about conditions.

Looks like just another person leaving Obama's fold after discovering what this President is really all about. Wonder how many folks will also flee so that their professional futures won't be tainted too badly.

Wyclef Jean running as the President of Haiti is more newsworthy than Christina Romer's resignation? Please CNN, start reporting unbiased, newsworthy stories. Neither you or Fox News can claim "Fair and Balanced" reporting. Can we expect you to return to your roots after Obama leaves office? Please, your readers are not as naive as you believe.

Professor Romer is the woman Obama ordered out onto the White House lawn to justify his wild spending. Of course she has privately written, with her husband, that the proper course of action should be drastic spending cuts. This is the height of duplicity. She knew very well that crazy spending would have no effect. She should have thought about where, exactly, she was going before accepting that White House job.

Come on CNN. This is all you have to say about Romer's quitting one of the most important posts in the country? Suppressing something bigger perhaps? Like political infighting?

Considering the state of the Economy, Romer made a good decision. As the old adage says; "when you can't be successful doing anything else....teach!

Ms Romer is making the smartest move of her life. As the radical left wing agenda and massive corrupt spending continue to do their damage to the economy Ms Romer is getting out before her reputation is completely destroyed. UNEMPLOYMENT and Massive Debt are the gifts Obama and the Democrats have given us, and we're on the edge of a 2nd dip recession because everything Obama and the Democrats have done has been wrong!!!
