TRENDING: Palin response to viral video raises brows

(CNN) - Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is responding to a YouTube video that shows her and her eldest daughter, Bristol, engaged in a spirited debate with a woman standing in front of a banner that reads: "Worst Governor Ever."

On her Facebook page, Palin reacts under a post titled "There You Go Again, LSM." She says the media (LSM is her abbreviation for the "lame stream media") is spinning the video of the encounter into something it is not. Palin lashes out at claims she rolled her eyes at the woman when she identified herself as a teacher.

"Yes, it's come to this: the media is now trying to turn my eyebrow movements into story lines. (Maybe that's why Botox is all the rage – if you can't move your eyebrows, your 'eye rolling' can't be misinterpreted!)" Palin writes.

Filming part of her Alaska documentary in Homer, Alaska, Palin writes she "had a brief discussion with a local lady who, in typical Alaska style, decided to give me her two cents worth about my political leanings, American politics in general, and much else besides."

In the video, the protester says to Palin, "You swore on your precious bible that you would uphold the interests of this state and then, when cash was waved in front of your face, you quit."

Palin immediately says, "Oh you want me to be your governor! Thank you."

"No," the woman responds, "I wanted you to honor your responsibilities."

As for the terse political discourse, Palin writes "It's what makes our politics so uniquely democratic: two people discussing the things they care about, even though they respectfully disagree about just about everything."

Watch the video! Palin's reaction when the woman says she is a teacher is rude, and disrespectful. Not to mention her smug, condescending tone throughout the conversation.

Poor thing, there the media goes, picking on poor little girl again. Can't take a little media heat, same as when it got too hot in the Alaska job, she whined about that. Often the truth is painful, but believe the lady, cash is all you worship.

I saw the video, Palin clearly rolled her eyes when the woman told her she was a teacher. Poor Palin just can't help herself – she's a congenital liar.

As a journalism major, even if from a community college, Palin should know that when you throw yourself in front of cameras at every opportunity, you are opening up your life to constant examination. If you do not like it, then stop parading, stop seeking attention every chance you get. Stop making an idiot of yourself pretending to be more than you are.

Rather than the condescending eye rolling, they should have concentrated on the vacant look behind her doe caught in the headlight eyes, there's just nothing back there, as they used to say, "The elevator goes to the top, but there aren't any lights on".

Why does Palin even feel the need to comment with the woman? During the whole affair, she is sarcastic and condescending. Is that her interpretation of political discourse?

Is it me, or does she remind anyone else of the fictional "Dolores Umbridge" from Harry Potter? She seems to talk so sweet and curt, but it's sinister and full of passive aggressiveness. I couldn't finish the video, due to curdling blood.

anyday now...just somehow take the blame. I mean I truly get the media after people. I mean I can understand look what they and you are doing to Obama, but at least at some point just say..."yes, I take full responsibility." I mean really! Other than that, I truly believe the media story.

The protester couldn't have said it better in any other combination of words. Palin couldn't reply, as usual, to something that logical, without resorting to wasilla hillbilly cute dumbness.

Stay in the media Sarah.... the more we see, the less relevant you are.

I watched the video that took place in Homer, Alaska. Sarah, Todd, and Bristol were trying to intimidate Kathleen, the school teacher. The Palins ~ especially Sarah, have forgotten that the First Amendment stand for Freedom of Speech. The sign was meant to send a message and it did! Sarah did roll her eyes and Bristol swore. Some family values. In addition, the Palins pulled down the woman's sign.
That was rude, unnecessary, and a cowardly thing to do. Each time
Sarah is unscripted, her lack of principles and the desire to control
the situation are evident. Sarah Palin is truly a danger to democracy.

This article does not show the fact that Palin's group: trespassed onto private property to create the confrontation, and; tore down the sign, which was someone else's property. These are not opinions, they are facts, and should reported by CNN. Why ere they omitted?

Sarah Palin, you are the silliest female in history. Mccain needs to be fired for thrusting you on us. Go somewhere, to another country, to the moon. Who cares where, just go....

I am absolutely appalled to know that so many people support, follow, and revere this sorry excuse for a politician, pundit, reporter,...whatever she's trying to be. Not only did she roll her eyes, she rolled her head toward Bristol and they exchanged an audible "mmmmmm". Such a fine example of Palin's lack of couth and sense of self importance. I do give her credit for talking to a brutally honest (and right!) woman proudly holding a banner reading "Worst Governor Ever" – she had to know she'd do something stupid, as always.

Sarah Palin is the worst of America. Watch the video. If her behavior doesn't make your blood boil, few things will. The woman who hung up the banner is smart, calm and direct. Palin is smarmy, a smart-ass, clueless and classless.

    Palin is an idiot.

Funny how evasive her answers are. I bet Alaskans aren't that happy about a Governor that quit on the middle of her first term.

The protester was right though. Palin should've finished the job she started. But for all the accusations of her hubby being involved in too much state stuff, maybe it was better that she quit!

And I don't know what Palin's problem is here. How many times has she given people crud for simple looks?

Sarah thinks she is America's sweetheart and is therefore above any and all criticism. It is always the media's fault whenever she gets some bad press, but is well deserved (in her less than humble opinion) when the media criticizes an opponent.

We know that Sarah isn't capable of making competent statements unless she has a common sense handler close by. Wow, if this woman just had a brain to go with her ambitious nature, she would be dangerous!!!
