Rep. Maxine Waters, D-California, is under investigation by the House ethics committee.

(CNN) - Rep. Maxine Waters, D-California, who is under investigation by the House ethics committee, said Tuesday she has not been given due process and she "will not be a sacrificial lamb for anyone."

The congresswoman is alleged to have helped steer federal bailout money to a bank in which her husband had a financial stake.

In a radio interview with CNN contributor Roland S. Martin on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Waters said she is "not guilty of any violations" and she "want[s] to go to trial."

Which reminds me, whatever happenned to Palin's barrage of ethics violations while she was serving as the half-wit Governor of Alaska?

Crooked as can be! She will not be a sacrificial lamb, but it's OK for the taxpayers of America to be.

    Hypocrisy knows no bounds!

Why is the ethics committee not going after Republicans – John Ensign??????????????????????????? His actions are criminal. You do not hear anything about him. What he did is far worse than anything she is accused of. I( believe David Vitters and his prostitutes is also an ethics violation or atleast a morals one.

" I am not a crook" Yeah right Ms. Waters. It's time for all these corrupt individuals to be voted out of power. I was born and raised in CA and she is guilty like NY-Mr. Rangel. Don't try and play the race card either Ms. Waters, we all know your worthless and haven't done much for the state of CA but watch it being run into the ground!

What goes around, comes around! Putting oneself in a situation that benefits one of one's love ones, even though it is ethically wrong , one should have to ask too and pay the consequence's.

Sacrificial lamb, WTH. Go to trial and let the issues be addressed. Sounds as if she got caught with her hands in the cookie jar. Guess Charlie is innocent as well.

I can see November from my house.

In less than 3 months--the end of the lies, corruption, manipulation, back room deals, bribes/threats, socialism/marxism-–as the majority of Democrats are sent to the unemployment lines.

More like the crazy lady talking to herself in the back of the bus than a lamb. This corrupt bimbo needs to go, unfortunately her district, is heavily under the NEA influence so her constituents don't recognize how bad she really is. It is another "safe" district for Obozo in 2012 full of dope addicts and non working, non taxpaying Oprah watchers.

After hearing Waters' explaining her side of the story this morning on the radio – I believe they have NOTHING against her and she will remain in congress.

Waters should continue her fight to show her innocence because there is something 'cynical' behind all of this and this is only the beginning!!! More to come...

Either she used her office for personal gain or she didn't. Based on what I have read my tax dollars were used for her personal gain. If its true she should resign its as simple as that.

I am not aware of anyone wanting her to be a sacrificial lamb. She has been accused of commiting one or more crimes and she deserves/requires her day in court to determine her guilt or non-guilt.

What she is accused of is what every mother's child in Congress has done. It appears the Democratic party has been so stampeded by the right-wing barking heads and presstitutes accusing them of anti-white bias that they are engaging in anti-black bias. In short, this smells like another Sherrod affair.

I watch this with comical interest. She's so stubborn, so stupid and likely so very guilty.

She is the poster child for term limits.

Oh please, she did something wrong. Her husband at the time of the meeting between the Treasury Dept. officials and One United Bank was a stockholder at that bank and the meeting and follow up activity were handled by her Congressional office on a matter that had to do with her personal life for her personal interest, personal benefit, personal gain. She had no business getting involved, using her position as her husband and she stood to gain money $$$$$$$ from such a meeting.
