Senate candidate Alvin Greene howled at a reporter on Saturday.
Senate candidate Alvin Greene howled at a reporter on Saturday.

(CNN) - In another strange moment in the Alvin Greene saga, the South Carolina Senate candidate attempted to drown out a local news interview with his brother by howling at the reporter from his front door.

Rad Berky, of CNN affiliate WCNC, spoke to Greene's brother following the candidate's indictment on a felony charge of obscenity.

Somebody's gotta make a movie out of Alvin Greene's story. Too weird, even for South Carolina.

Earth to Alvin .... Buddy, you are making a fool of yourself and your family, while making a laughing stock of your state.

Get out of the race before you do any more damage.

Republicans have Palin and the Democrats have Green ... the only difference is that the Dems have rejected Green as far and wide all are aware that Green is not a legitimate candidate capable of performing the Responsibilities of the office that he is running for and a large presentaage of Republican are now just slowing starting to getting a clue about Palin.

The reporter should have known better than to conduct an interview during a full moon.

OK, I admit it, I'm really starting to like this guy. He's so early in his career, yet he is already one of my favorite black politicians (second to Marion Barry, of course). Jackson, Sharpton & Rangel all look sedated compared to this guy. Alvin Greene - you da man!!

  6. Never Republican

South Carolina.. any state where a seeming majority flaunts the Confederate flag, is guilty of extreme idiocy. Mr. Green is either a plant from the despicable right, and/or proof that South Carolinians are painfully ignorant. Probably both.

Out of fairness to the voters, this candidate should be replaced with someone competent and sane. Otherwise, the ability of the voters to make a rational choice has been thwarted.

Sure he wasn't howling at the moon? Enjoy previous comments regarding Greene i.e. "Planted by Republicans", "Republicans sent the Porno", etc. Just demonstrates that Democrats will put the blame on anyone other than themselves.

First, he charged with showing porn; now, he is howling at a reporter. Without doubt, he is a true blood Republican.

See, Democrats will vote for anyone with a little d next to their name, even Osama Bin Laden could get elected Senator from an ultra blue area like DC, NYC, or Chicago, if he had a little d next to his name the lib Soros drones would all vote for him.

I'm not a Democrat and I don't care for most of their social policies. However, they deserve a better candidate than this fool.

Alvin Greene doesn't seem to have all his faculties about him and there are serious questions about his legitimacy of his candidacy. There needs to be more investigating into his background and exactly where his funds to run came from. This is more than just a difference in party ideologies.

  20. GOP = Scorched-Earth Politics

Where did the $10,000 come from for Greene to run in the election? Why has the media refused to follow-up and audit the $ trail? Only in the heart of the Confederacy where there is a long track record of the GOP meddling into elections would this happen.

What can one say at this point in this story's development? Maybe – Where'd he get the filing fee again?

as if Repugs don't already deem Dems crazy, we have a candidate who is indicted on porn charges, who despite a shaky employment status and minimal political affiliation mysteriously came up with >10 grand to get in the race, he howls at reporters, and plans to create state jobs making DOLLS of himself with various military uniforms and a suit? Why is there no Democratic outcry for him to drop out and check in to a facility for diagnosis?

I am a lifelong, wouldn't vote for a republican if he were my own father Democrat. This guy is an idiot! I wouldn't vote for him if you put a gun to my head. What the hell is wrong with South Carolina. Don't they vet their candidates?
